“We visited this restaurant at the invitation of one of the customers of SWC Contracting, We were not let down. The food was made with a tasty southern flair and each dish had my taste buds wondering what could be better than the last bite. We arrived about 6:30pm it was a little busy but not crowded and we were seated straight away by our waitress Tabitha, Her personality was bubbly and refreshing. We had our drinks and first dishes out within 7 minutes of our order. I can't say enough about the service, Tabitha if you read this,.. Just WoW!!! The food really is SECOND to NONE. When we want homecoming we usually visit a larger chain but after today this place has won my business for southern cooking and it is cooked at its finest.. I hope you all visit this place and have the experience we had,.. and I would ask for Tabitha if I was you.. P.S. Bring your appetite..“

“Where to start? What a delightful evening and meal. The waiter, to start with, was amazingly attentive and kept up with us the entire evening. Also the owner came over and filled us in on the recent history. Liquor license is in now but I don't drink so that was not important. Let me segue to the food. OMG, the mushroom and goat cheese fondue with tomato jam was to die for. It was served in a cast iron skillet with plenty of toast. The sauce was so rich and creamy. To keep this under an hour and a half reading let me say my bride's steak was perfect along with the brussel sprouts and kale. Let me tell you about the pork chop. I like my pork chops to be medium rare if possible and it was perfectly pink inside. I try my best to get that look and I always overcome them. The sweet potato puree asking with the brussel sprouts was outstanding. The portions were very generous and couldn't ask anything better for a Monday night meal. OK, then there was the bread pudding. Oh, Lord, when I tasted the whiskey I almost fell in the floor. So, let me say to the people who has a bad time at the restaurant that they are hitting on all cylinders. I can understand a Karen or two that have nothing better to do than be haters, especially after the opening of the restaurants after COVID. I get it. Why not try to come back and give it another chance. They deserve it and you could use a good meal to chill out.“

The waitress came to our table immediately and asked for our drink orders and brought them back very quickly. The rest of our visit was phenomenal and Savannah (with the cool gold glasses) took great care of us! Food was delicious as always. Towards the end of our visit, Oswaldo, the Manager, came out and sincerely apologized for the issue in the beginning and provided a discount for the trouble. “Quick review.... my son and I went there for breakfast, on a weekday morning (@10a). No waiting, we were seated rather quickly. There was one server at the time. Poor girl was waiting several tables, but moved quite efficiently and was capable of providing adequate attention to the guest. The menu items are abundant and eclectic in their variety... a little something for everyone's palette. I ordered a potato, sausage something with eggs. Sorry, I can't remember it specifically, nor did I take pictures. Can't remember what my son ordered as well... What I can say, is that the portion size is hefty. We were struggling to eat all of it and had to get a takeout. FBC has been around for a while, with other locations. I was a county health inspector, who inspected the location in little 5 points area, so I am familiar with the restaurant and their style of business and the quality of food. It's a good place to get a good meal. Come to this location and or others for a nice experience.“

“I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“

crowds stack up at lunch, and the takeout side won’t check whether you’re actually waiting on an order… you’ve gotta be assertive and tell them the name on your order, or you’ll end up standing there forever with your food literally sitting on the counter. the workers are right there doing their jobs, but for whatever reason they don’t stay on top of getting the takeout orders out/in the fridge during rush.

“It was a little noisy outside but my room was extremely clean. There’s a nice bar and a restaurant, where I had breakfast. Most importantly, it was quiet at night and the showers worked well. Extremely accessible to the highway and a better value than some similar hotels.“

I wish I had taken a picture because there was a distinctive difference in size for each of our biscuits and chicken. The girls hat for me to take pics of our food but I wish I had as it demonstrates a lack of some consistency in the kitchen. They were still good and tasted as expected. My niece enjoyed her breakfast bowl as well. The toffee latte is far too sweet. I ended up having to put some black coffee in it to make it less so.“

The only potential negative here was that the cornbread was sweeter than most cookies. Not bad, just want's expecting anything that sweet. Again, it tasted great... just wasn't expecting that taste with the vegetables and chicken. I kept it for later in the evening as a dessert. Had them do half sweet and half unsweet tea.
