The tacos come with salsa verde, a hot sauce, queso and a sour cream/crema/cream frische(one of those, slips my mind at the moment) on the side. Had homemade cheese grits as the side instead of the "moon dusted" potatoes and the grits were incredible. Stole some potatoes from my wife and daughter though and I can attest to their awesomeness as well.Tip: for the taco condiments, pour a little bit of each on each taco. For sides, the aforementioned tomatoes (try it with the Lemon Pig table sauce, sooo good) and salmon croquettes which tastes JUST like my mom's. “Located in Home Park we happy to see that the location was not difficult to get to. There was a parking garage around the corner however there is complimentary valet service which is always a relief. The dining room has several rooms with different views my husband and I were sat in a room full of windows which was nice. My husband and I were in for our anniversary and decided to try one of the new Michelin recommended restaurants. We came for a 5:30 reservation and left close to 8:15. The service was decent however there was several times that we said " ummmmm where is our waitress?" But I think the staff does a good job of working as a team. We started off with some drinks I got the Miller Time ( a nice light and refreshing gin cocktail) and my husband got a beer. We were very impressed with the beer menu they had lots of our favorites and was certainly a nice treat for him. For starters we had the hush puppies ( cooked well, with a chutney on top and a nice creamy sauce underneath), The Farm Baked Egg( a staple to the restaurant, deliciously creamy with outstanding sourdough toast) and, the Local Lettuce Salad( I really loved how the ingredients were the star of the show with this salad. It was by no means underdressed but it was well balanced enough that you could enjoy all of the in season veggies), for dinner I had the Pork schnitzel( I was a little disappointed by this one the sauce was unlike any I have ever had and was heavy on the citrus while the collards were difficult to eat because they were so tough, the pork itself was pretty standard although, I had always thought schnitzel was supposed to be pretty thin this was not. The dish was highly recommended but I think it just wasn't for me) my husband had the duck leg ( which was cooked very nicely and he was very satisfied with the overall dish) for dessert we were gifted some glasses of Prosecco ( very sweet to include for our anniversary) to go with the vanilla cake( very moist and was paired with island flavors), the lemon bar( pleasantly bright with a raspberry sorbet and grapefruit mouse. I loved everything about this dish there was so many bright puckery flavors but it was not overwhelming.) and, the Dessert cheese course( lovely selection on cheeses the only thing that was off to me is the strawberries were not sweet at all.... It was a little sad). I also ordered a cappuccino which unfortunately had no foam on top paired with their hazelnut liquor which was very good. All in all it was a good experience.“

The cashier , I forget her name, but she was so patient, sweet and friendly when taking and explaining our order... the food came after about a 15 minute wait, and when I tell you we enjoyed every bite. I had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin which was absolute perfection. The beef was cooked exceptionally well with the perfect amount of salt. The whipped potatoes were nice and buttery smooth and the spinach was the best spinach I've ever had. It was packed with flavor and the bearnaise sauce accompanied everything so well. We also tried the new Grilled Artichokes which were delicious. The ricotta really put it over the top and again, was seasoned perfectly. The staff was also top notch! Our waiter was fantastic beacuse he was so kind and professional and knew the menu back and front. The brunch manager was still there and he was also amazing and so nice. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“

Favorites: The devil eggs were whipped smooth texture, the sea bass was probably the best cut filet I've had; nice seared crush on the outside moist flesh??????, the Brussel sprouts ?? wish I had more actual sprouts, roasted chicken amazing and the shrimp & grits were ??. The side car was amazing always love Uncle Nearest. The only other small things food for thought for Mr. Garvin/ownership the mashed potatoes weren't that great too runny, the peach cobbler was ok more crust and the parking validation needs to be better explained you have to notify the server before the expiration in order to be credited.Other than that will be back to try a steak next time. The greens were PERFECT not requiring any condiments at all! The salmon and lamb cooked to perfection and the yams and Mac & cheese didn’t disappoint. Honestly it was all soooo good!! This is great for day or night date or with family/ friends. Our server, E, was attentive, friendly, and best of all informative on the food and drinks!! I first got to try them last year at Jump-off Juneteenth event, anytime I see them at any event they are my go to food choice. Their turkey legs are always flavorful and juice, Mac & cheese is delicious with collard greens that have a kick to it! If you want the best of their menu please try their big back bowl ( turkey,greens,Mac & cheese,Kandi yams with cornbread) chefs kiss. The staff is always friendly no matter have busy they are at an event or even at their takeout location I. Which they finally moved in the city right in midtown Their takeout location can get really busy as it's a share kitchen space but it's clean and quick once your order is ready.“

I have literally never had a bad meal here and the "Community Hour" menu is such an incredible value that it is borderline criminal. The chef is super creative and the specials are always on point, the only "problem" is that the regular menu is ALSO always on point so it can be hard to decide what to get!
