“It was my first time there, though I’d seen the place for years. I’d moved to another area of town so I never got a chance to dine there. I recently was in the area and craving barbecue and I remember Jim n Nick’s. Hooray! I ordered the 2lb classic rib with baked bean and Mac and cheese. The mini cheese muffins and sweet butter spread was unexpected and awesome. And 5 minutes later my order was on the table and looking delicious. When I ate the first rib I was in love, food love. The best ribs I’ve eaten so far. I am looking forward to visiting again with friends. I want to experience more items on the menu.“

“I’ve never been to Atlanta but wanted some comfort food and this place did not disappoint. First time having Pot Liquor Soup was delish. Chicken Fried Chicken was just what I needed. It was worth the long walk here. Not to mention the friendly staff. Thank you!!“

“My husband and I came here for the first time on New Year’s Eve. Parking was easy and from the moment we walked in we were greeted. We were seated immediately at a nice table and were given time to soak in the atmosphere and look over the menu. I ordered the Rockefeller oysters and a Long Island, both were delicious and did not disappoint! My husband had a jack and coke. For our entree I had the salmon sliders( which were recommended by our waitress) they were filling and oh sooo good! My husband had wings and truffle fries which were nice and crispy. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves 10/10 I recommend.“

“So good! Do not miss this place. What a culinary gem in the heart of Midtown Atlanta! Everything me and my friends ordered was so delicious! I had the Fried Chicken Pimento Crisp Sandwich and the Gouda Mac and Cheese... it was phenomenal. The side of Blackened Brussels was literally one of the best things I have ever eaten and I didn't think I liked Brussels Sprouts! Go figure!
I enjoyed the Beignets for dessert and they were epic! Light, crisp with the perfect amount of powdered sugar and an out of this world Rosemary Hazelnut Praline dipping sauce. Incredible ending to a stellar meal.
Met the chef/owner Jordan and he was amazing and oh so talented. We loved everything he made so much... we ate here twice during our 4 day visit from Dallas!

Easy Parking in the Lot B garage around the corner. Discourse Eatery validated our parking for 2 hours.

Every time I visit, the customer service is consistently excellent — the staff always makes you feel welcome and cared for. The food is equally amazing: fresh, flavorful, and always cooked to perfection. You can really tell they put love into every dish. “Today I had the privilege of eating and photographing at Aimer ATL.FRIED LOBSTER TAILSToday I had the experience of trying the Fried Lobster Tails, and they were delectable. These tails would be wonderful for lobster connoisseurs and even those who just do not care for it. Why? The crispy, crunch of the batter is full of flavor, delivering a full southern punch to a subtle crustacean. The batter additionally captures the juices within the meat which explodes upon bites. “I had the incredible pleasure of the Miller Union experience last Saturday. I run a small nonprofit meal ministry program in Gwinnett and I am a colleague of your Executive Pastry Chef's mother. Being from industry, but now serving in a different manner, I must say how satisfying it is to know that considering the major challenges presently in the restaurant industry, you have built a culture of service, professionalism, precision and family that is simply impossible to find. You were flawless on that night. I claimed time out of my busy schedule to treat myself, I didn’t have a reservation but was granted the best seat in the house, at the bar, on the corner, right at the service area next to the ticket stabber and the printer. You might ask, why that seat was so great... well, for the first time in 35 years I had no responsibilities being that close to the start and finish of an order. I knew I was in the right place to do something I'd never done before and that was to take my hands off the wheel and allow the environment to take control. I asked, who I believed to be the Sommelier (sorry can't recall his name)to order for me. Of course he would line me up with the best wines without sacrificing my mortgage payment, lol by my request, but I kept eyeballing those Sailor's Greetings passing by and had to inquire. The Bartender was "straight fire" and gave me the scoop... a reduction of muscadine wine!!!! WHAT!!! Anyway, the Pork Belly, the Field Pea and Peanut Salad, all amazing. When it came to the entree I had to pump the breaks on the house choice... I saw Collard Greens with the Pork Loin... being born and raised in the South, I had to know. The moment of truth, Wow! Okay I had to look this... Unicorn in the eyes. Now it's Saturday night so I didn't expect Chef Steven Satterfield to be present but low and behold, he was there. I couldn't see him because he was doing what he was supposed to be doing... Driving the Bus! So after an awesome experience thus far and a visit from who I believe was the FOH Maestro, Neal MaCarthy, it was on to the reason I was there… to experience the offerings of Chef Claudia Martinez. Her team did not disappoint. Again I left it up to the BOH and BAM!!!...the Doughnuts!!! Just phenomenal. So I wrapped up and called for my car and on my way out I was saluted by GM Vince Landi and informed Chef Satterfield had a moment and he was kind enough to greet me. Needless to say, I was honored and proud of know our industry's best days are ahead of us. Thank you Miller Union and Chef Satterfield for a night to remember and for continuing to carry the torch. “This place is delicious! You have gain a long time customer. The service is always exceptional and the cashiers are always friendly. I will definitely be coming again soon. Plus the chicken salads are always fresh. Sometimes they don’t put enough crackers, but that is an easy fix. Fancy Nancy and Cranberry Kelli are my favorite. Also those chicken salads are great for people who are lactose intolerant.“
