“It was my first time there, though I’d seen the place for years. I’d moved to another area of town so I never got a chance to dine there. I recently was in the area and craving barbecue and I remember Jim n Nick’s. Hooray! I ordered the 2lb classic rib with baked bean and Mac and cheese. The mini cheese muffins and sweet butter spread was unexpected and awesome. And 5 minutes later my order was on the table and looking delicious. When I ate the first rib I was in love, food love. The best ribs I’ve eaten so far. I am looking forward to visiting again with friends. I want to experience more items on the menu.“

“My husband and I came here for the first time on New Year’s Eve. Parking was easy and from the moment we walked in we were greeted. We were seated immediately at a nice table and were given time to soak in the atmosphere and look over the menu. I ordered the Rockefeller oysters and a Long Island, both were delicious and did not disappoint! My husband had a jack and coke. For our entree I had the salmon sliders( which were recommended by our waitress) they were filling and oh sooo good! My husband had wings and truffle fries which were nice and crispy. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves 10/10 I recommend.“

“I had the incredible pleasure of the Miller Union experience last Saturday. I run a small nonprofit meal ministry program in Gwinnett and I am a colleague of your Executive Pastry Chef's mother. Being from industry, but now serving in a different manner, I must say how satisfying it is to know that considering the major challenges presently in the restaurant industry, you have built a culture of service, professionalism, precision and family that is simply impossible to find. You were flawless on that night. I claimed time out of my busy schedule to treat myself, I didn’t have a reservation but was granted the best seat in the house, at the bar, on the corner, right at the service area next to the ticket stabber and the printer. You might ask, why that seat was so great... well, for the first time in 35 years I had no responsibilities being that close to the start and finish of an order. I knew I was in the right place to do something I'd never done before and that was to take my hands off the wheel and allow the environment to take control. I asked, who I believed to be the Sommelier (sorry can't recall his name)to order for me. Of course he would line me up with the best wines without sacrificing my mortgage payment, lol by my request, but I kept eyeballing those Sailor's Greetings passing by and had to inquire. The Bartender was "straight fire" and gave me the scoop... a reduction of muscadine wine!!!! WHAT!!! Anyway, the Pork Belly, the Field Pea and Peanut Salad, all amazing. When it came to the entree I had to pump the breaks on the house choice... I saw Collard Greens with the Pork Loin... being born and raised in the South, I had to know. The moment of truth, Wow! Okay I had to look this... Unicorn in the eyes. Now it's Saturday night so I didn't expect Chef Steven Satterfield to be present but low and behold, he was there. I couldn't see him because he was doing what he was supposed to be doing... Driving the Bus! So after an awesome experience thus far and a visit from who I believe was the FOH Maestro, Neal MaCarthy, it was on to the reason I was there… to experience the offerings of Chef Claudia Martinez. Her team did not disappoint. Again I left it up to the BOH and BAM!!!...the Doughnuts!!! Just phenomenal. So I wrapped up and called for my car and on my way out I was saluted by GM Vince Landi and informed Chef Satterfield had a moment and he was kind enough to greet me. Needless to say, I was honored and proud of know our industry's best days are ahead of us. Thank you Miller Union and Chef Satterfield for a night to remember and for continuing to carry the torch. “Came across this restaurant while walking and decided to give it a try. I ordered the hot honey chicken biscuit with egg but ended up getting it with brioche instead. This was honestly the best chicken sandwich I've tasted. Definitely will be back!“

“My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“

“Super yummy. Food to rave about. So so good. I got the bottomless coffee. I was in the mood for pancakes with fruit and the photos looked good on google. I got the pancakes with bananas and pecans. The syrup was hot and everything just melted in my mouth. I also ordered the shrimp and grits as it is a southern specialty. I wasn't super impressed with the dish in the past at other restaurants, but the photos looked promising. Bluebird's shrimp and grits with cheese was savory, with slightly sweet shrimp, great texture, and I loved the dish. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all but still wanted the experience and to try it and took the extra to go. The decor was eclectic and whimsical. I loved the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend supporting this business or bring friends here. You can't get food made like this in a chain. Glad I chose to stop here today. There is a 20% tip added to the bill so expect that when you go. I normally tip at least 20% anyway and tipped more this time.“

Every time I visit, the customer service is consistently excellent — the staff always makes you feel welcome and cared for. The food is equally amazing: fresh, flavorful, and always cooked to perfection. You can really tell they put love into every dish. If you’re looking for a place that combines great hospitality with delicious, authentic soul food, RC’s is it. I highly recommend it — you won’t be disappointed!“

These tails would be wonderful for lobster connoisseurs and even those who just do not care for it. Why? The crispy, crunch of the batter is full of flavor, delivering a full southern punch to a subtle crustacean. The batter additionally captures the juices within the meat which explodes upon bites.
