Cozy Coop is a great place for home style food for the FAM. The red beans and rice was fire, and the food is always good, including country veggies, fried chicken, fried okra, and their special sauce that goes perfect with chicken tenders. The chicken is the best fast food chicken in the Atlanta area. The only issue encountered was that the fried okra was a bit too greasy. The size of the portions were twice the size of Popeye and KFC. The service was great with very spacious dining. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a calm atmosphere. The staff made customers feel welcome, with one staff member being very bubbly, sweet, helpful, and going above and beyond. What set them apart from every other place like this was the carryout station, where customers did not have to ask for a carry out box or bag. This place is family owned and run with a 100 health rating.
