“I'm writing this review with total honesty. Bbq Masters was at the The Columbus, Ohio Jazz and Fest this weekend and was the worst barbecue ribs I have ever had in my life. I spent over $50 for food that I nor my mother were able to consume due to the amount of salt they used. The greens has ABSOLUTELY NO seasoning, Mac and Cheese was disgusting and only tasted like pepper. and let's no forget the baked beans they took straight from the can and served people. SHAME SHAME SHAME SHAME! I WILL NEVER EAT THIS AGAIN. I almost forgot to mention, customer service was horrible and rude. Whatever guy yall had ringing people up for slabs of ribs yall should have kept his grumpy self at home. Worst ribs and sides ever. This is an true and honest review. Which meant I was here for a whole day. As I was about to order Wendy's. I decided to just do a quick google search to see if anything was open. Just so happen to find this Amazing place K1 & Des Southern Spoon. Just so happen this place was open 3pm to 3am, I decided to take a walk to see what they were about. It took me less than 5 min to walk there from the truck stop. Boy was it woth it. I literally ate there 3 times, in the time of being here. So if ever in the area and you hungry try it, you wont regret it.“

“Now! Before I give you my full review, allow me to say, I LOVE BARBEQUE!!!!! During my friend's day we decided to try a new restaurant. Upon executing a search on Yelp we decided to try out Ray’s. Ray’s sits in a huge strip mall. When you pull in the restaurant is to the far right hand side. Don’t do what I did and go to the left. LoL! Walking up to Ray’s you realize it is hugeeeee. There are two entrances. One brings you into the dining side and one brings you to the order area. Regardless of which door you walk in it’s all connected… As I got to the register, the man in front of me told the cashier “let me get my usual!” This was a great sign for me as it shows that he is a repeat customer. To say I was excited is an understatement. LoL! Taking a moment to take in the menu and the assortment of options I decided on the Ribs Dinner with One Side. After placing our order we took a seat, not before taking pictures with the Ray’s sign so I could let everyone know I was here. LoL!!!! The wait wasn’t too long as before I knew it the waitress called my name and was bringing the order to the table. Looking at the plate I was pleased with the presentation and serving size. I asked for my sauce on the side as I like to see how the ribs taste without sauce first. The Ribs: Moist. Meaty. Well seasoned. Perfectly made. Good quality. Very filling. Overall 10/10. The Sauce: (I ordered the Mild) Flavorful. Not “bottled.” Thick. Perfect hint of sweet to pair with the natural salt of the pork. Overall 10/10. The Yams: The yams weren’t bad. You could taste the “canned” flavor, however, you could also taste the added flavorings that are presented to give the taste of homemade. Overall 6/10. My experience at Ray’s was absolutely enjoyable. The ribs alone provide for a flavor filled, stomach pleasing experience that makes you want to come back. **Oh yeah, I didn’t get to try the mini sweet potato pie, however, it was calling my name. I’ll be getting it next time. HaHa!!“

“I called to inquire about catering an event. I was unsure what to order. The sweet lady that helped me was incredible! I believe she said she was the manager. My order was ready when I picked it up and exactly as promised! Our event was wonderful and everyone bragged on the chicken salad! (Classic Carol and Fancy Nancy) Thank you for even going the extra mile with the croissants!“

“I love, love, loved the food and the ability to blend my own soft drink was a fun treat 🤪. We went to the one close to Mc Donough on 20/81. The staff were super friendly too. I would highly recommend it.“

“The experience we had with Mr.Dameione and Magnolia BBQ far exceeded our expectations. Coming from New Orleans we are critical of food from other places....but Nola.... Magnolia BBQ gave us a run for our money. The food was wonderful.They were professional, they were set up and ready to serve before our group even arrived. They were courteous and attentive to our guest from start to finish. I would recommend this business 100 times again and again. I cant wait to party again in Atl. If you haven’t tried Golden Wok and you love Chinese, you’re simply missing out!!! My personal favorite is the Spicy Bourbon. The prices are most definitely reasonable and the portions are WAY above average. You taste the freshness in everything you eat there. To top it off the staff is super courteous. If I’m in the mood for Chinese, this is my number #1 in the Locust Grove/McDonough area!!! Try them out.“

“We stopped by 45 mins prior to closing after leaving the SEC Championship game. Our server Daryl greeted us so kindly and made us feel right at home. From beginning to end, our visit was very pleasant. We received fresh hot biscuits and did not wait long for our food. You can tell that Daryl is a hard worker and very caring about his customers experience. He went above and beyond ensuring we got everything we ordered and wanted. He seemed to be working the dining room by himself with several tables and always had a smile on his face. We don’t eat out often these days because it’s tough to have a positive experience with service and food so we were so thankful to have both today! Thank you Daryl for being so wonderful. “The McDonough property is always very busy. I have never been without a thirty minuet wait to get a table for two or three people.. They have some tasty food items to choose from, and their hot butter croissants are so delicious .
My problem is the cook and waiters have to work at 110% to keep up with the orders. This time, my main course was brought out before the appetizers . They did ask if we still wanted them. To be nice to the very young waiter, we still accepted them.
It will be a long while before I choose to go again. The prices are reasonable, so if you have the time and patience it's a nice family place to eat.
