“The best chicken since my Grandmothers' !!!! This experience is the best. I have had some good chicken from Canes'---I lived in Baton Rouge for many years--but Cowboy's is the best by far. The personnel working there are all awesome, making for a great experience all around. The experience of eating good food is quite hard to find in this day and time. Please convey to everyone that is associated that they are well thought of, and I convey that to everyone I know. Thanks again!!“

“I visited today with my wife and was pleasantly surprised. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated. The food was great but the service was what really made our visit superb. “I was a little confused by my experience. I ordered a scoop of chicken salad and asked if I could purchase a large bowl of pasta salad, but I was told that wasn't something they could do. I just ordered the regular pasta salad instead. When I got my to-go order, the pasta salad was placed in the compartment of the container instead of in a separate bowl like it is when I dine in. It looked like a smaller portion, so I'm wondering: are the dine-in and to-go portions supposed to be the same? You can see in the picture how small that portion is.“

“We were seated promptly, but waited 17minutes for a server to come to the table...which was only prompted, by my wife tracking down a manger. We exited without ordering, fearing the food wouldn't be cooked properly or it would be cold!
Also...the associates seemed to have a chip on their shoulders.
Sorry fact is...we stay at the Choice hotel right next to this restaurant. Probably won't any more.“

“Ordered a family bundle and additional meal for pick up, only received half the order. Unacceptable, why are they not checking for order accuracy? I even tipped well, regrettably. Called about the missing food and got an excuse about being busy, call and ask for the manager in the morning. I expect to get the run around. I will be updating this review, as accountability is a lost art in this day and age and people work too dam hard for their money for merchants to act careless about the privilege of receiving other people's money. This is the second time they shorted my order, the first time I let it slide. Never ordering from this location again.
Update: I was connected to a manager who agreed it did not make sense and would follow up with the staff. He also took care of us on a following visit.“

“Sarah 'put her foot" in every dish. Fried chicken and pork chops were spectacular. Had black-eyed peas, Collard greens, green beans, candied Yams and fried Okra. No frozen veggies here! All fresh and delicious. Rolls and Cornbread muffins were special, too. ❤️ this place!“
