Great place to eat at the food is good. The employees are friendly.
Omg.. a diamond in the rough... after a long day of traveling and a crazy couple of days, we were starving...had initially planned on going to Texas Roadhouse but the wait time was extremely long. My husband just happened to glance over and see this place and we both love BBQ so we thought let's give it a try. Best decision we made. The BBQ chicken he had and the pork I had was outstanding, very flavorful and we ate everything. The not so naked potato was very good as well....read full review
Jasmine working the drive thru on 9/12 is the true example of stellar customer service!!!!! I have never ordered from Jim ‘N Nicks but she took her time with me today. She ensured I got the most bang for my buck, she was patient, and got my order RIGHT with a smile on her face. Jasmine’s hospitality alone would be worth me coming back. Based on the reviews, Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q is a restaurant with mixed experiences. Some locations are considered the best in the area, with great food and amazing service. Servers like Alexis and Jasmine are described as kind, considerate, professional, and efficient. The smoked flavor on the chicken and pork is very good. The Morgan Co. White sauce paired well with the chicken. Portions are nice for the price.
However, one location had poor quality. Some meats were out of stock, and the chicken tenders were awful. They seemed slightly undercooked and were definitely fried in the same oil as the catfish. The brisket was dry and cut in small pieces. The server was very inattentive and seemed annoyed. The music and echoes of the barren restaurant were too loud. This location was not the quality expected from the chain, and some agreed they would never return.
