“Tried Mo Thai and Sushi Bar in McDonough, and the menu had a decent variety. We started with a large appetizer platter that had a little bit of everything—grilled skewers, dumplings, spring rolls, fried calamari, cucumber salad, and several dipping sauces. It was a good way to sample a few different items, and everything came out looking fresh and well prepared.

The grilled skewers were juicy, but I thought they could have used a little more seasoning. I guess the peanut sauce was supposed to be the star of the show, but it was just okay for me. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside, but the filling was a little mushy. The calamari had a light, crunchy coating without being overly greasy, and that was probably my favorite item on the platter. I also liked having several sauces because each one gave the appetizers a different flavor.

We also tried a Hawaiian sushi roll, which was generously topped and had plenty of sauce without completely overpowering the roll. The presentation was nice, and the portion was a good size.

The restaurant itself had a relaxed, casual atmosphere, and the dining room felt clean and comfortable. The service was also great and no issues. Overall, I thought it was a decent spot, especially if you’re with a group that wants different options since you can get Thai food, sushi, grilled items, and appetizers all in one place.

I’ll probably go back, but next time I’m skipping around the appetizer platter and trying more of the sushi.”

“A perfect Sunday brunch! Our server, Quan, was as much a contributor to our perfect Sunday brunch as the food was. Ever attentive and charming personality, a great fit for the mission of restaurant. Collard green spring rolls for appetizer was a huge treat, perfectly seasoned all nestled in a spring roll. My husband and I shared the Wild Caught Trout over a bed of grits with a most delicious sauce. Sweet Potato Bread Pudding for the dessert win! With vanilla ice cream - Bonus! Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of anything for you to see but we’ve been two times previous to today. I have pix of those. A red snapper that was the best I’ve ever had! Lamb chops tender and delicious. Shrimp and grits- delicious ! Fried Green Tomatoes - so tasty!! Pandora’s on the Square is consistent in putting a perfect plate on the table!”

I understand it is the Holidays but it doesn't take but a couple of minutes to double check orders. The other Texas Roadhouse we have tried have been great. I guess here in McDonough we will have to keep using Long Horns.”

“My wife is battling cancer right now and I wanted to get her out the house so we went to Red Lobster since she loves seafood. We did not have a long wait time. Once we were seated the area was very cold. So I asked the waitress Kiambra if we could move to another seat. She granted our request even though it was not in her area. She was so kind and attentive to our needs. I really appreciate that. The food was delicious and well prepared. We had a wonderful evening thanks Kiambra.”

My experience overall has been very good. The couple of hiccups over the YEARS I have gone, outweighs any disappointments. I think the few negative reviews online come from bad first encounters which is unfortunate. The owner has always made up for the minor hiccups I’ve had. That’s why I continue to patronize this business because no business is going to be perfect. It’s how they handle their mistakes. And I’ve only experienced 1-2 mistakes over years of going here.

The chicken wings come with a selection of dry rubs or tossed flavors and are very decent in size; served with a large portion of French fries and a drink.

I will say it’s a little on the sweeter side which I’m not too much a fan of but it doesn’t take away from how good it is 8/10 definitely recommend and would get again !!
If you like spice then I’d recommend going up a notch and getting medium !!

“Okay I was just in that part of town to pick up something on Facebook messenger and it was dinner time. I was hungry so I ordered a fish sandwich. They let me swap the fries for fried okra! That's something in itself; and then I ordered the fish fillet dinner for my family and they let me swap out the fries again. It was just great.
But I have to say something about the collards. They were fantastic! I've already recommended to about 3 or 4 friends. And the catfish was fried golden brown instead of light yellow. Go, order, eat. You won't be disappointed.”

“Okay, I had no true plans to enter but the music and man sitting outside, created an atmosphere that was welcoming. The young man at the front that took the order is an introvert (which is okay). He was kind and let me review my order before leaving.
I got one of each patty, jerk chicken and wings. It was great food. The plantains were hands down my favorite of all local spots I’ve tried.
If I had to give any feedback, it was warm inside (reminded me of being home in PR) but still warm. The rice didn’t taste fresh but it was still good.

Again I’ll be coming back and surprised they don’t have a line out the door! ?”

“I was a little confused by my experience. I ordered a scoop of chicken salad and asked if I could purchase a large bowl of pasta salad, but I was told that wasn't something they could do. I just ordered the regular pasta salad instead. When I got my to-go order, the pasta salad was placed in the compartment of the container instead of in a separate bowl like it is when I dine in. It looked like a smaller portion, so I'm wondering: are the dine-in and to-go portions supposed to be the same? You can see in the picture how small that portion is.”

“Three of us stopped in at your McDonough Ga location Thursday, April 13, about 2 pm to grab burgers. It was raining and our shoes were wet so we wiped them off on the rug just inside the door. My 72 year old wife was the first to enter your restaurant and as she stepped off the rug her feet went flying in different directions. We grabbed her before she hit the floor but we had trouble maintaining our balance because the floor was so slippery we couldn't get any traction. It was as if the floor was covered in grease. We had to hold each other up as we made our way to the counter to place our orders. The whole floor was slippery. When we mentioned it to the clerk she said it always does this when it rains. We took a seat in a booth to wait on our food and another female employee brought our food to us. When we mentioned it to her she said someone mopped the floor and didn't know what they were doing. As we were leaving another family came in and I warned them before they got off the rug. They also had to shuffle around. Whether it was a sweating floor from the rain or a greasy mop job I'm not sure. All I know is if my wife had hit the floor things would have turned quite nasty quickly. I can't believe your manager allowed customers in the door knowing how slick the floor was. Someone should be fired over this because next time your company won't be so lucky.”

“By far the worst experience with the employees and the food I’ve been coming to Johnny’s pizza for years and my wife is pregnant right now. She tried one of the pizzas did not like it so we told the waitress to take it off my (wife only ate a half a slice of pizza) So we ate our large Greek salad together instead and when it came down to paying the bill, they still made me pay for my pizza that nobody ate. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they don’t accommodate to the customer i’ve always gotten asked if I wanted it taken off the bill or do I want something to replace it and they did not do either with that being said the customer service was absolute garbage we were the only family in there no one checked on us and then they charged us for a pizza that we did not even like so I give this place a one star worst pizza restaurant in the area one other thing that I forgot to put in the post, the pizza wasn’t even cooked all the way it was still doughy”
