“The best chicken since my Grandmothers' !!!! This experience is the best. I have had some good chicken from Canes'---I lived in Baton Rouge for many years--but Cowboy's is the best by far. The personnel working there are all awesome, making for a great experience all around. The experience of eating good food is quite hard to find in this day and time. “My Wife & I went for lunch on our Anniversary 27th . Food was amazing service TOP NOTCH . I mean this is a great place to sit and enjoy food . Great taste and impeccable service.. our servers name was Victoria and she was amazing and all of the staff was there to help any questions anything you needed. They got it quick . “12/27/2025-Service was slow even though there were not a lot of people. We enjoyed the food that we ordered from the menu but were also charged for each of the fries separately for 5 people. My husband and I were confused about this but assumed we read the menu incorrectly until I read other reviews. The Owner has to investigate this further and maybe Customers need to keep a menu at the table or take a picture of it to compare to receipt once it arrives. This is unacceptable and we will not be back.“

“OK, I am coming here for one reason today. Aside from the food being wonderful, a clean atmosphere and wonderful service, let me please make a pretty important suggestion. When an employee is witnessing an elderly person with a walker struggling to open the heavy door, please don't ignore her. I went to get the car because I had to park pretty far away and I did not want my mom to have to walk far on this windy day. We come in here often and always receive top tier service. It is the little things that matter and it certainly would have been appreciated. With that being said, we will continue coming here as regulars. I truly don't believe that the intent was to be rude, not at all. There are no hard feelings. This is just a little reminder that getting old is not easy and a little help goes a long way. ❤️“

“Right next to the Baymont Hotel is a seafood restaurant called Mis Costas Marisqueria....excellent!!! The service is outstanding. A gentleman comes to the table and explains the menu if its your first time visiting, then brings an appetizer for each. We ordered the white fish with a pineapple sause...excellent. The fish plates are huge so we shared. Perfect night!!!“

“I visited today with my wife and was pleasantly surprised. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated. The food was great but the service was what really made our visit superb. Our server Donika was fast, super friendly, and really attentive. 4/5 for the good food but 5/5 for Donika's service.“

“First time trying this place and I got the chicken basil fried rice, spice level mild and it’s so good!!
They didn’t use an excessive amount of oil which I loved and it was piping hot when it got to me (ordered DoorDash)
I will say it’s a little on the sweeter side which I’m not too much a fan of but it doesn’t take away from how good it is 8/10 definitely recommend and would get again !!
If you like spice then I’d recommend going up a notch and getting medium !!

“This is one of the only dive bar options around with DJ in the evenings in Mcdonough. Lots of TVs. Corn hole outside and 2 pool tables. Food is surprisingly good. I would recommend it if thats the vibe you're going for. Many tables as well for families to eat seperate from the bar area.“

“Walked in for the first time, two options on how you can order. Touchscreen kiosk or order from counter. I opted for the crab personal Alfredo pasta and a strawberry frozen pina colada.. both are very good! The garlic pasta flavor with real crab meat. The only reazon didnt give 5 stars on food was because the flavor. Garlic, bacon or salt on the pizza was very low. I like more salty flavor in the cheese and strong flavor on the ingredients.“

“The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The jazz playing in the background set such a smooth vibe, and the service was greatand no to mention our waiter was attentive and welcoming.
I love supporting Black-owned businesses, especially as a small Black business owner myself. It’s important to pour back into spaces that reflect our culture, excellence, and community. Definitely recommend and will be back!
