“A friend put me on this spot. not far from where I work so I stopped by to check em out. I got their Grits ( which were great, not runny not to solid, just right), their Chicken Sausage which were plump tasted really good, they say they make them from scratch, and if you get store bought chicken sausage and theirs, you will notice a difference, I got their Hash Browns which had that nice crust but underneath was soft potatoes, well seasoned, and I had their Tacos with steak which was excellent, especially paired with their green Chile salsa and the lime you can squeeze. All that for 20 bucks...good eats.....real good.

Side note-now when I pulled up to the place it was 5 squad cars deep. Walked in and in the back officers eating and chilling. This place- if it has law enforcement coming-not in pairs or ones or twos, but squads-ya might wanna see bout them, just saying. Good food is good food.“

“Went to Gritz for the first time today. Only complaint is it was very cold. The food was excellent. I had the two eggs with corned beef hash and hash browns, a biscuit and gravy. Food was cooked perfectly. Biscuit and gravy were outstanding. Service was great. Will definitely be back.“

“My food was phenomenal! My son loved his too, which is rare! The steak is deliciously seasoned and thick. Plus everything is fresh cooked to order. We tried the Philly egg roll today and let me tell you!! It's DELICIOUS!! Everything we ordered was delicious. It gives family vibes through and through. The service was excellent too he helped me with the menu and answered all my questions. The prices are a little higher than other restaurants but for the portion size it's actually a bargain! Trust me you won't be disappointed here!! 💯“

“El Charro will always hold a place in my heart. At 33 years old I've been coming here since I was a small child. There are very few constants in life and for me, El Charro has always be just that. We aren't talking about a 5 star Mexican restaurant, but a wonderful, affordable and welcoming family experience. That's what you can always expect and get when you visit. Even in my adult years as I've gotten older and moved away from griffin, I always make it a point to visit for some fajitas and an ice cold margarita.
