I don’t hand out 5 stars lightly, but this banana pudding absolutely earned every single one! 🍌🍮

From the very first bite, it was clear this wasn’t your average banana pudding. The layers were rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with fresh banana flavor and soft cookies that tasted like they had soaked up just the right amount of goodness. It was sweet without being overpowering, homemade in all the best ways, and had me scraping the corners of the pan hoping for one more bite.

“Today I took my family to Rutabaga’s Market Cafe, and saying the food was great would honestly be an understatement. It was absolutely delicious. I cleaned my bowl, and so did everyone at the table. Our meals were prepared by Michelle and her staff in less than 15 minutes after we placed our order, and everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The atmosphere was just as good as the food. The walls are filled with nostalgic displays, from Diana Ross to Queen, along with hilarious signs, memes, vinyl records, and cassette tapes. It brought back such a sweet reminder of how much I loved music growing up. When I asked Michelle what inspired the vibe, she told me she was a disc jockey aka a DJ. How cool is that? Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and a beautiful family experience. We will definitely be back.“

“We just left about 2 hours ago and the food was amazing ! But our server JOHN was phenomenal. He was so attentive to each of his tables and all his customers and their needs . He spoke clearly and gave his recommendation on the white pizza I believe is the name and man was he right , it was delicious 🤤 . He literally is the best server we have ever had at any establishment thus far . Thank y’all for the 5 star ⭐️ service and hang onto John as long as ya can haha ! we definitely will be back .“
