Although we were early, the hostess graciously seated us at the bar, where Lucas crafted truly magical cocktails that set the tone for the evening. Once at our table, Dakota seamlessly took over, demonstrating an impressive command of the menu and guiding us with confidence. What stood out immediately was the pace. We were never rushed, a rarity in today’s dining scene, and were able to fully enjoy each course as it arrived. The homemade bread was the perfect introduction, followed by appetizers that were nothing short of extraordinary. 🏆 The leadership here clearly sets the tone for that amazing service. Dwayne, the manager, is a fantastic leader who knows how to engage with customers and run a happy, cohesive team that creates a genuinely positive atmosphere.

🍲 As for the menu, the chef is an absolute genius. I had the seasonal Miso Crunch Grain Bowl, and it was everything you want a dish to be: healthy, filling, perfectly balanced, and packed with a serious depth of flavor.

🍸 And, the cocktails! Oscar, the savant mixologist who designs the drink menu, has truly outdone himself with unique, creative, and balanced flavors. Boxcar has an excellent craft beer menu, but you must try their cocktails as well because they are divine.

🍹Kristi, our bartender, crafted them to absolute perfection. Do yourself a favor and order the Toasted Coconut Margarita, it is literally a tropical island getaway in a glass.🤪

“This place is out of this world fantastic. The pastrami is near perfect. We dined for brunch and tried piled high pastrami, the general breakfast with schmaltz potatoes, deviled eggs, and pastrami and grits. We also had coffee and egg cream. We finished off brunch with a round of desert: cheesecake, coffee cake, and chocolate cake. Everything was so good from the service, to the atmosphere, to the food and I can’t wait to go back here.“

“Super yummy. Food to rave about. So so good. I got the bottomless coffee. I was in the mood for pancakes with fruit and the photos looked good on google. I got the pancakes with bananas and pecans. The syrup was hot and everything just melted in my mouth. I also ordered the shrimp and grits as it is a southern specialty. I wasn't super impressed with the dish in the past at other restaurants, but the photos looked promising. Bluebird's shrimp and grits with cheese was savory, with slightly sweet shrimp, great texture, and I loved the dish. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all but still wanted the experience and to try it and took the extra to go. The decor was eclectic and whimsical. I loved the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend supporting this business or bring friends here. You can't get food made like this in a chain. Glad I chose to stop here today. There is a 20% tip added to the bill so expect that when you go. I normally tip at least 20% anyway and tipped more this time.“

We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) “I came to this location on 4/27/2019 the wife and I. This was our first time coming to this location. The place is was busy! Good thing I had reservations that I booked with OpenTable, as I only had to wait about 5 minutes or so for my table to be ready. The table was small for two in a little corner. I was not really happy with the table, but the place was busy, packed, and limited seating. My waiter was amazing. As I asked questions she double checked on everything for me in the back. You can sample the wine for those who do not know their wines very well. My wife wanted sweet wine a red, and the recommended one was no so sweet so she went with a Riesling. I had the Fishers Cocktail with scotch. It was not that strong but nice. However, the bread was nice and fresh. I ordered the Mahi Mahi, and Mussels. I also had the Jumbo Lump crab cake as an appetizer to share. It was lump crab but not Jumbo. I am from Baltimore, MD so when it comes to crabs, it must be on point. Maryland is known for stellar seafood especially the crab, so Jumbo Crab in Maryland vs. The Fish Market Jumbo crab do not compare to Marylands. However, the taste was amazing I loved the filling but they are more crab than cake. The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. My wife had the Scottish salmon trout blackened that too was delicious. I also need to highlight that their whipped sweet potato mash was so good my eye light up with joy! Long story short. I will be back!“

“The female black manager with long hair with braids are so rude to the employees. Heard her bad mouthing an employee at the bar area about 3 weeks ago . Tonight spouse and I were sitting close to the kitchen and we heard her calling one of the staff very loud. She is very unproffessional. One of the female server had a pissed off look on her.if she is a manager, she is very unprofessional. The servers are awesome but we notice almost all the servers are not happy here when ever we go here. We always eat here in between flights from Tampa to Houston.“
