We always look forward to our layovers when One Flew South is open. We’ve had five star experience until recently when we went for breakfast. The service was super slow and then said we may not have time to order (after having waiting nearly 10 min to be acknowledged). It was still good food and timely despite the one slow/meh server.We will be back. And Im sure this one time was a one off.
I made a trip to One Flew South in the Airport Concourse E on my way out. My sushi roll was delicious. A regular customer was able to turn me on to a special Single Barrel pick of Uncle Nearest that was offered. It’s because he was a regular I found they had this bottle. Unfortunately Kevin was occupied with day to day disgruntles that he missed the opportunity to offer me different spirits, tequila and/or bourbon. Tastiest airport food I've ever had. Can be a pretty penny, but it was worth it for me (a traveler who was getting sick and tired of greasy food). I had the salmon and a glass of sake. SO good. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Atlanta looking to treat myself.
