“I have been here for poker, dueling pianos and just a meal out and I give that 5 stars, across the board but this review is specifically for my experience in being a part of renting the venue for a private party/fundraiser event - what an AMAZING place this was for our party!! The staff is excellent! They were highly professional yet refreshingly down to earth. They patiently guided us through the many steps to pull off a memorable event and were so helpful through the whole process! The food, servers & ambience were GREAT and the price was very affordable! Southern Roots will be my go to for future events that I throw and I recommend them for any party! I learned that they even do full weddings! What a great place for a fun Sunday wedding venue!“

“The atmosphere is always on point! Service was great, food was hot and delicious! The music selection was giving 90s R&B vibes and the drinks were flowing consistently! The manager Jameca is very attentive and ensures we are always good and no concerns need addressing. Highly recommend this spot for great food, music, and entertainment!“

“Right next to the Baymont Hotel is a seafood restaurant called Mis Costas Marisqueria....excellent!!! The service is outstanding. A gentleman comes to the table and explains the menu if its your first time visiting, then brings an appetizer for each. We ordered the white fish with a pineapple sause...excellent. The fish plates are huge so we shared. Perfect night!!!“

“I have been a customer for over a year, and I really enjoy both the service and the food is exquisite, and the prices aresome of the lowest in the area. I just moved to Georgia from New York and let me tell you that the flavor from Castillo Real is second to none, we don't have this type of flavor in New York . I really recommend this restaurant if you are in the Mcdonough area.“

“Game area is fantastic for families. Food is great but the hostess on Sunday, July 13, 2025 was not very polite. Ask for a table near the gaming area, he said those are reserved. If you have to sit in the back room, I had young adolescents and wanted to be close to gaming floor. Have come to this Dave & Buster’s five or six times and always got a table near the game area He said they were reserved. I said never mind. I’ve been before and got table just walking in, went back and asked why they were reserved and he said they were short servers. I said I just want to sit there. I don’t mind waiting till one comes in. He said those are reserved And was not friendly. I said how do you reserve them he said online. I got online and you cannot reserve a certain spot. I went back and he said if you had let me tell you and not walked away, I would’ve told you how to get online.I said never mind. I have never run into this and all my times of coming here I will eat somewhere else, just did not want to walk around for 90 minutes of unlimited play for three kids and wait on them. I would have bought drinks and food. Just feel like he could’ve been more accommodating And it was not crowded at all. It was 11:30 AM and they had just opened. I would think if people are coming in person and want to sit in those foods they should be allowed in the server should be put there not in a very back room. I will drive on into an Atlanta one before I have someone being rude to me.“

“We arrived around 6pm and barely had to wait which was awesome! We were surprised cause it was packed haha. The atmosphere is very welcoming and kind due to the staff and manager who was very present! SHOUTOUT TO MADDIE! (Maddy? Haha idk how she spells it.) But she is a superstar! She was beyond attentive and kind, plus she was also bartending and made one of the best drinks I've ever had at a restaurant 👌🏻🫶🏻 I gave 4 stars on the food just because the burgers were VERY salty in my opinion but overall 10/10 experience.“
