“First impressions are Everything!! Visiting from Louisiana with a friend, we decided to try the College Park location. The greeter, with a very pleasant personality met us at the door and welcomed us in. The energy was high from the staff as well as inviting. We both decided on the Afta Church, tried the fried green tomatoes and added the bussin muffins. Beautiful presentation, deliciously prepared and from my own experience, the meal was intoxicating. I'm a salt sensitive person and I was pleasantly surprised the meal wasn't high in sodium.I don't eat out often but when I do, I want to enjoy it and I love when the meal and atmosphere leaves a lasting impression. I would absolutely recommend treating yourself and your palette to an unforgettable experience at Virgil's Gullah Kitchen & Bar!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Now, this is the old school throwback juke spot. I went here with my husband, had the taste for some quick food, and I loved it. The food was good. The ppl are a much older crowd 40 and up that makes for a good time no fights. You can still smoke in cigs here, and that great for me, but I wouldn't recommend it if u dont like the smell. The drinks are priced right and strong, and most of all, it's just chill mood. The only negative is that the parking is limited but only because ppl like to go there“

“I usually love this after hours spot but the crowd is getting too young for my preference maybe since I'm over 45 I must be going on the wrong night. Otherwise the drinks are good and strong and never had food. ??‍♀️ If you get here late just know you are parking on the streets or in the designated parking lot but watch your car It can get towed if you park in the wrong parking lot.?“
