“Best hidden gem in Lithonia! The ambience, food, hookah, and drinks were great. We had a Hennessy margarita made by the owner Annette and a strawberry peach daiquiri made by the bartender. The watermelon hookah was made fast and flavorful. As far as the food goes.. it was the best I've had from a restaurant in a while! We got the homemade chicken tenders (not pictured because it was too good to photograph), and the chicken egg rolls which were big enough to get full off of just one roll. I enjoyed the sauce that came with the egg rolls, it paired well with the ingredients inside . If you don't feel like sitting inside they also do delivery ! While It wasn’t a huge deal, in part because it was such a beautiful day to sit and relax on their well-put-together patio (with their great selection of music!) and though they only had 2 other diners, besides us…service was slow. But, as fortune would have it, we landed/lucked into arriving during Happy Hour, but it turned out to be 1/2 Happy when our $5 Margarita Mock Tails, came to us, we were informed that us that it was not possible for them to execute a frozen Virgin Margarita…something about their mixer and how it was not conducive to the likes of ice and a blender. I didn’t mind, as I ordered mine, exactly that way, but my friend was a little disappointed, that they did not give her the opportunity, to order a different drink of her liking because they have a generous selection of drinks of the fruity persuasion and quite possibly, at least one of them had to accommodate her frozen drink preference. As we sipped along, shedid report it passed muster and had a stable position on her likability scale. I was digging mine, though they overlooked my request of a salted rim. Word to the wise-I wouldn’t consider it a traditional margarita, as there was club soda in it and while I appreciated the fresh lime juice, it really tasted like the base of a mojito…minus the alcohol. On another note, as we soaking up the sun and some fun-we noticed they had table-top “fire places” (forgot what you call them) and stand-up heaters and we thought that it would be inviting for some after work ambience, with a side of comfortability and possibility of a realistic patio plan on those chilly evenings-nice touch Guac Taco! Like I said, overall we enjoyed ourselves-we would recommend it to others and without reserve, return happily in the very near future! Oh and not unlike Trend Urban Cafe-they offer complimentary and freshly herb-infused water, which always is a winner in my book! Also-their space was especially clean and the women’s bathroom followed suit! So make a Guac Taco Trip and see for yourself, why so many reviewers are advising others to refrain from overlooking this new gem on Stone Mountain. And really, tell me-where you can come across a quality and freshly-squeezed lime margarita for $5!?! Lastly…don’t forget to sign-up for their Customer Rewards Program. There are many huge TVs to watch the games on and the DJ respects game time and turn down the music when the games are in motion. The drinks are on point ! While waiting, I looked at the kitchen floor and it was filthy, the counters didn't look too tidy either. I chose to turn my head quickly or else I would've cancelled my order. “I decided to try this highly-rated Italian Restaurant for the first time and they did not disappoint! This is a great meetup spot for Lunch and there are many cute booths for two. There is also a well-lit bar area with TVs, plenty of areas to accommodate small and large parties, and ample parking. I love the black and red coloring throughout the interior on the white background of the building! The atmosphere is very comfortable and goes well with meeting coworkers, friends, family, and other special people. They even turn the lights down a little before dinner to set a romantic mode. They have a Lunch menu, but I ordered the 'Potato Gnocchi with Broccoli' and added Portobello Mushrooms from the Dinner menu. It was exquisite! ? I carry seasonings to add to the food that I eat out because sometimes the flavors need boosting. This was not the case at this wonderful place. No seasoning was required and the serving was ample enough to eat some and take some home. I complemented my meal with their very tasty 'Red Sangria'. “It is no longer NAMED "We Got Soul". The name is "Ms. Pat's" The name may have changed but the food, taste hasn't! I went and I had the baked chicken, greens, and cabbage. Everything was good. I LOVED the baked chicken! The cabbage had a little more spice than I like, but it was still good. I gave my greens to my hubby who loves spiced up food!! But, that still doesn't take away from the quality of the food. The baked chicken was so good I had to meet the cook, Joe and ordered a whole pan. He was very pleased,pleasant!!! Only minor gripe is their prices are slightly too high in my opinion. A basic hamburger without any extras is $15 and it felt more like a $12-13 hamburger. The Philly was $18 and that’s, again, maybe two or three bucks too high for what it is. I won’t hold it against the place, though.
