“We visited The Red Phone Booth on 6/15 while in town for my cousin’s graduation. What no one knew was that I had just placed my mom on hospice and we had lost a cousin the same day—her sister and my mom’s baby sister were with us. Even in the middle of all that pain, we were shown such kindness. Sophia was amazing, and I even played pool with a member who didn’t know I could barely hold a cue. We didn’t look like what we were going through—but that night gave us joy we truly needed. Thank you for a beautiful experience. We’ll be back. ❤️“

“The Local is a dive bar (in a good way!) with some really good wings. The line was out the door and once you get in, you order at the counter and then have to find your own table. When we got inside, it was packed inside and every table was also taken. I’m assuming that The Local is usually this busy because also they talk about how they regularly sell out of wings. When we asked, they said they sell out usually 2.5-3 hours after opening so you definitely have some time. The wings themselves were really good! To be honest, I’m usually a boneless wing kind of person and these are traditional wings, but they were great! I went for the 1/2 & 1/2 so I could try two different flavors. I went with the Korean and Spicy Korean and they’re quite different. The Korean is a bit more sweet and the Spicy Korean has a little kick. If you like spice, the Spicy Korean is very mild - not a bad thing, just not super spicy if that’s what you’re looking for. But, it’s still good. Both sauces were good, but I’d go with Spicy Korean as my favorite of the two. I also got a side of fries and that was a pretty generous size which was nice! Overall, cool local dive bar vibe and really really good wings! If you go, just go early and be ready to have to keep an eye out for a table to snag in a free for all style!“

That said, the brisket tacos more than made up for it. They were well-executed, flavorful, and tender, with a solid balance that made them a clear highlight of the menu.

The drinks were another strong point. Well-crafted, refreshing, and consistent, they complemented the atmosphere perfectly and elevated the overall experience.

Service was solid across the board. The staff was attentive, professional, and kept things moving smoothly despite the busy environment, which added to the positive vibe of the visit.

“My friend and I just happened upon Sakura as we were exploring the Lee & White space and we are so glad we decided to stop in and chat up the bartender and owner, Nico. Nico guided us through a sake tasting consisting of three unique sakes starting with junmai ginjo, usu nigori, and ending with nigori. Our time with Nico was very fun and informative and we can’t wait to come back with friends and try more varieties!“

“Great experience for their Goodfellas theme. The food and cocktails were on point for each course. The service from the entire staff was phenomenal.

My favorites were the tuna tonnato, lobster tortellini, and tiramisu. My friend enjoyed all her courses as well.

All of the cocktails were amazing and so unique. The standouts were the funny how, cutty water, and no more shines.

“We’ve been coming here for years at the battery. They are closed on Sundays, just in case you come catch a game. I recommend joining the loyalty program and getting a plastic Tumblr to work your way up to free refills. This is really helpful during the summertime, especially when the lines are long because you also can go in the shorter line with your refill cup. This is the BEST location in the Atlanta metro area. Don’t waste your time at the Mall of Georgia and the airport location their drinks don’t taste the same. TJ and the woman who is a new mommy are fantastic bartenders. Every-time we come they remember our names and order. We will definitely be back.“

The dishes were fresh, and the sauces that came with complimented their flavor. The main dishes were great too. They have several TVs so I am able catch up on news and sports while I am there.

“Love this place on Fridays in particular. This is a good spot to mingle with Black gays (of course other types are here too) outside of Mixx (too pricey to get in). This place is free usually, the customers are friendly and music is popping on Thursdays just ok on Saturday unless you keep telling the dj what to play (the dj on Friday knows what to play). Great place to mingle and party. Drinks could be a little stiffer (I dont drink regularly)“

“This is a great place. I wonder how I missed it since the last 3 years. Great drinks and a great atmosphere. They allow outside food and our dogs also. Great vibe yet very peaceful. There is a lot of variety of alcoholic drinks, they are very fresh. Unfortunately for me only one non-alcoholic drink is available - root beer. But I loved this drink. A lot of games are available. “Best food in the city hands down. It’s a hidden gem and if you’re a foodie like me you’ll love it. Everything from the wings, splits, chili dogs, tacos on Tuesday and the soul food on Sunday is amazing. There has not been one thing that has come out that kitchen I didn’t love ❤️ ❤️ 😋 on Friday nights from 12am til 4am they do midnight brunch and the fish and shrimp and grits will be the best you’ve ever had. Bee Glad Lounge is definitely a 10 out of 10. The vibes are so chill, the music is always on point, there’s a pool table, axe throwing, slot machines in the game room if that’s your thing. They even do .50 wing Wednesday like they will have you big backing everyday lol You have to try it.“

“This place is great! The selection of beers is impressive and the prices are as well. There are no flights available but you can get 4oz samplers, 4 samplers for $10 which is great. You can spend a whole evening here just trying new flavors with the approx 50 different choices available. There’s some outdoor seating available which is nice since it’s a lot calmer outside.
