I come all the time and sit at the bar Rachel is usually one of the bartenders working, Ask for her she makes the best drinks! My mom came one time without me and she’s a big complainer about everythingg lol, Rachel was so sweet to her and made her feel seen now every time she visits me she begs me to take her. “We visited The Red Phone Booth on 6/15 while in town for my cousin’s graduation. What no one knew was that I had just placed my mom on hospice and we had lost a cousin the same day—her sister and my mom’s baby sister were with us. Even in the middle of all that pain, we were shown such kindness. Sophia was amazing, and I even played pool with a member who didn’t know I could barely hold a cue. “The Local is a dive bar (in a good way!) with some really good wings. The line was out the door and once you get in, you order at the counter and then have to find your own table. When we got inside, it was packed inside and every table was also taken. I’m assuming that The Local is usually this busy because also they talk about how they regularly sell out of wings. When we asked, they said they sell out usually 2.5-3 hours after opening so you definitely have some time. The wings themselves were really good! To be honest, I’m usually a boneless wing kind of person and these are traditional wings, but they were great! I went for the 1/2 & 1/2 so I could try two different flavors. I went with the Korean and Spicy Korean and they’re quite different. The Korean is a bit more sweet and the Spicy Korean has a little kick. If you like spice, the Spicy Korean is very mild - not a bad thing, just not super spicy if that’s what you’re looking for. But, it’s still good. Both sauces were good, but I’d go with Spicy Korean as my favorite of the two. I also got a side of fries and that was a pretty generous size which was nice! Overall, cool local dive bar vibe and really really good wings! If you go, just go early and be ready to have to keep an eye out for a table to snag in a free for all style!“

“This noraebang is always so clean and well-kept, and Gigi is the best. She always takes such good care of everyone who goes there and makes them feel welcome. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to go to a private karaoke room. This was my second time going here, and we ordered food this time and the food was delicious as well! I had an egg roll, and fries and both were delicious.

“I stop in here for lunch once a week. The staff remembers me, the food is great and it comes out quick. I like the grilled chicken sandwich.

They have several TVs so I am able catch up on news and sports while I am there.

“Love this place on Fridays in particular. This is a good spot to mingle with Black gays (of course other types are here too) outside of Mixx (too pricey to get in). This place is free usually, the customers are friendly and music is popping on Thursdays just ok on Saturday unless you keep telling the dj what to play (the dj on Friday knows what to play). Great place to mingle and party. Drinks could be a little stiffer (I dont drink regularly)“

“This is a great place. I wonder how I missed it since the last 3 years. Great drinks and a great atmosphere. They allow outside food and our dogs also. Great vibe yet very peaceful. There is a lot of variety of alcoholic drinks, they are very fresh. Unfortunately for me only one non-alcoholic drink is available - root beer. But I loved this drink. A lot of games are available. “I loved every aspect of 26 Thai Kitchen and bar. The service was excellent. The food was really good, including the massive one that allows you to order four for a discounted price. The dishes were fresh, and the sauces that came with complimented their flavor. The main dishes were great too. I had a sweet and sour chicken which came in a pineapple boat and my husband had a pad Thai flavor inspired chicken. The atmosphere was awesome, felt very cozy and retro.“

“Went there March 14th with my homegirl after leaving the drunken unicorn. It was sooooo much fun we ended up staying there most of the night! My order was taken quickly and when the food came out it was hot and exactly what requested.Now for the food! I had the Salmon and Mash dinner. When I say the salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Additionally, the portion was HUGE!!!! My date had the Steak and Mash dinner! Again, the steak was cook to perfection and seasoned perfectly. And once again the portions are large.Lastly, the drinks!!!! Were amazing and the bartender was too!!!! I strongly recommend you ask for Rose as she is knowledgeable, professional, and beautiful (not that that really matters) but I say all that to say this... Circa1890 is a full package. Great food, even better customer service, and a bartender that is easy on the eyes.“

“This is our new favorite date night go-to spot. It’s just SO GOOD in every way! The creative seafood menu is absolutely delicious - you cannot go wrong even if you don’t really know what you’re ordering. Some of our favs have been the Anchovies, Broiled oysters, grilled cheese, spaghettini, fish plate, and pastel de nata. It’s also a very intimate/cozy/warm environment with excellent drinks and wine list. The staff are authentically friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We’ll be back many many times.“
