Are you a snob? Do you stick out your pinky out when you hold your glass? If so do not come here. Highland tap is an Atlanta institution. It has a below 4 score on Yelp yet on every nite you go the place is slammed. Why? It’s an outdated as hell restaurant, a time capsule into the 90s. I've been here a number of times throughout the years. Very little has changed really. Same decor for the most part and same great ambience to just duck out of site and cast off the burdens of the day. Their food is a step beyond standard pub fare - not just burgers and such, they also serve up a good ribeye steak (I got The Tomahawk this past visit) and they make some of the best onion rings in Atlanta! If you’re looking for an intimate, cozy place to enjoy an amazing ribeye, and a few martinis. This is the place! My girl and I snuggled up in a corner booth in the basement dining room and had such a wonderful evening. Great value and excellent quality from drinks to dessert. We’ll be back!
