Showed up and asked how long it was going to be before I can get a table for one they told me it would be over an hour and and they'd be closed then two very arrogant young people didn't want my old money that's fine I took my $200 that I was going to spend somewhere else because this place doesn't need your money because they're arrogant and rude to people who knows what their food was like but all I wanted to do to me was be ill and ugly to me all I have to say is word gets around I was born here and I know everyone this was just a little too much hope the owner sees this cuz he's losing business.

Horrible!!! I'll never go back!!! I got money and these people treat me like I'm nothing Elmer Fudd them! I ent directly upstairs to where same owners have Fontaines up above. Nicer non-racist people and good vibe! Not uptight like staff and managers excect the exceptional black bartender the only one I went back to tip. Management was judging, threatening and down right ugly with me. I'll only go back to cause trouble. I promise! Also visit George's across the street! Great people and great burgers and more!

If you’re looking for an intimate, cozy place to enjoy an amazing ribeye, and a few martinis. This is the place! My girl and I snuggled up in a corner booth in the basement dining room and had such a wonderful evening. Great value and excellent quality from drinks to dessert. We’ll be back!

Managers are rude and hostile here, they refused to fix the food when i asked for a re-cook because it was not what i ordered.I'll never bring my family back.

This review is mostly for the food :( the service and atmosphere were great, but the food was mid, especially for the price. Loved our server, loved the space, didn’t love the apps…

Are you a snob? Do you stick out your pinky out when you hold your glass? If so do not come here. Highland tap is an Atlanta institution. It has a below 4 score on Yelp yet on every nite you go the place is slammed. Why? It’s an outdated as hell restaurant, a time capsule into the 90s. I always tell my friends it is impossible to have a bad time at Highland Tap.Went on a Man Date and we both had the time of our lives. One got the Rib Eye, the other got the prime rib. We cut it in half and shared. I’ve been coming here for 15 years and first shot at the prime rib. Y’all, it’s the best I’ve ever had. We sat at the bar, and the bar tender asked us if we have ever been. I told here Highland Tap is my happy place. I got my dirty martini with Blue cheese stuffed olives and smiled away.Bottom line, food snobs stay away. This is a locals spot, who absolutely adore this place.

I've been here a number of times throughout the years. Very little has changed really. Same decor for the most part and same great ambience to just duck out of site and cast off the burdens of the day. Their food is a step beyond standard pub fare - not just burgers and such, they also serve up a good ribeye steak (I got The Tomahawk this past visit) and they make some of the best onion rings in Atlanta! You can even get oysters Rockefeller. But I can't end this review without mentioning their great beer and wine menu, and the variety of on tap selections that keep me coming back and happy!

Have been here a few times however, will not be back. There are a lot better places for steak/prime rib than the Highland Tap. The bar was under staffed hence took forever to get drinks at the table. The prime rib was probably the worst. If you get any toppings (additional cost) or blackened, be prepared for a medium well prime rib. Had to return the 14oz. prime rib as it was a mangled cut. Second piece not much better. Service was slow and not even a free drink for returned food.
