We visited Bad Axe Throwing for the US Open and spent a lot of our down time at The Whelan! Staff was friendly, food, drinks and drink selections were amazing! Alec the bartender makes the best Buffalo Trace Manhattans, props bro! The pool table area has great ambiance. If we're ever over that way again, we'll definitely go back! Keep it up!
Love this place!! The food, service and vibes are always on point! Saturday night at 10pm is Karaoke and you don't want to miss it!
Better food than any dive bar has the to serve. Staff are friendly, cool, and knowledgeable. Some of the best Wings around. Thier Cuban Sandwich special (Thursday?) is one of the best in town. Burgers are great too.

The Whelan is an excellent restaurant with a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a game of pool or a casual meal. The outdoor seating area is lovely and dog-friendly. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and provides great service. The food is phenomenal, with stand-out dishes like the Chicken Peri-Peri sandwich, the Family Recipe Chicken Curry, and great wings. The burgers are top-notch, and there are plenty of drinks to choose from. This bar has events and specials almost every day. It is a great chill environment with darts in the back, pool in the back, and lots of seating, making it a perfect spot to catch up with friends.
