“Used to go here waaaay back when it was the corner tavern but just started frequenting again since discovering they have live music Sunday evenings. Though it's a jazz jam, the band plays a great variety with some of the drop ins. The food is surprisingly good for a bar. Brisket nachos were my go to but I discovered their salads and roasted brussel sprouts recently ? so there's something for everybody. Cocktails are appropriately strong for a late night spot, bartenders and servers are friendly plus free parking and great entertainment. The crowd varies so you'll see a little bit of everything and feel comfortable hanging out.“

“We dined in on a Saturday night for my nephew's birthday (2). We were seated right away. As a party of 15, they needed more than one waiter to serve. There was a mix up with a couple of orders but the waiter tried to rectify it. The seafood boil was delicious, but the kids shrimp and whiting was fried with too much breading. It was a relaxed atmosphere with a bar, music and tvs. Prices are reasonable.“

I was a little disappointed at 1st glance, but that soon changed once I took my 1st bite. I've tried a few places in ATL, but they had one of the best tasting sandwiches. “What a great experience! A friend recommended this place for the best 'inland lobster bisque', and she was not wrong! We had the lobster bisque, a cold 1 lb peel and eat shrimp, a hot 1 lb shrimp, oyster sampler, chipotle chicken tacos, and a side of tots. Yum! So good! My new seafood stop when in ATL. Pierre was the absolute best, giving us suggestions, making sure our drinks were not empty, and just being friendly and excellent! Can't wait to go back!“

“This is a beautiful place to play pickleball with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The reason I rated the establishment a 4 Star is because every weekend we try to play they allow individuals to rent out multiple courts for events. We have tried several weekends in a row to come play arriving at 9AM and both times someone rented out six courts for a birthday and the following weekend someone rented out the entire complex. I get you need to make money but there should be limits on courts you are allowed to rent.“

“I got a sangria. Not only was my drink full of ice, but it tasted like a dirty towel you clean with. It was the worst drink I’ve ever ordered in my life. Don’t ever order a sangria. “Didn’t get to experience the roof due to the rain. The place was phenomenal chic decorations. Excellent service and the food was off the chain. I had the fried catfish it was seasoned and fried to perfection. Our table tried several of the dinner options everyone was very pleased with their meal. Drinks were fabulous!!!!? “Just a basic dive bar; but my favorite in the area. Has a pool table, some darts and a golf game, smoking patio out back.

Parking: There is somewhat limited parking around back. Not usually an issue, but at peak hours, you may have to sneak over to the lot next door.. shhhh ;)“

“Had a great time at The Earl. Only real issue is the bathrooms are really dirty. To me, the whole place is kind of dirty/dingy, but I suspect that is part of the charm. The food is excellent, the drinks are strong, and the people there are kind of standoffish, but really good at what they do. Parking is complicated, but that's common to the area.“

“We stopped in on a Sunday after an early chic. Bears game for the first time. Burgers was one of the best I ever had- fish sandwich was crunchy and flaky inside and big. Would highly recommend stopping in. Great service and nice owner!

“Went for the holiday pop-up. Was very cool how they had it set up. Christmas punk music and home alone, perfect. Drinks were great. It was slammed, but the bartenders kept up and still had smiles on their faces. Also really cool was every drink had a Christmas keepsake. I would go back on a regular night. Parking was easy too.“

Such a hassle, and there is no “run in” or 15-min option. Makes me go with less frequency but when I do go I buy a tad bit more- however prices there are high. So, two drawbacks. And yet I go, just not as much as I would if conditions were different.“

“I went out with some friends after attending the opening night of The Atlanta Black Theatre Festival. We had loads of laughs, and our waiter joined in and added to the laughter. The menu is very limited and geared towards patrons with a slightly more sophisticated pallet than the average person. I believe I had The Bronzino, which was trout on a bed of veggies with a special red sauce.
The fish was cooked to perfection with a nice crunch on the outside and juicy and flavorful on the inside. The veggies were the perfect size and had a nice soft crunch to them as well. The sauce was bursting with flavor!

We sat on the patio. It was nice, but they never turned the patio lights on, so the lighting was very dim. But it was a cool atmosphere.“

“You could very easily have a terrible night here… that is possible…. Although, everything is possible… I walked up and had my bag checked (totally appropriate). Met the bartenders (4 on for a slow night)… it was karaoke and took a moment to get the speakers going (totally happens)… Front patio leads to the main spaces… you have a smoking area sectioned off in the front… back patio and a pool table…. Two restrooms with someone monitoring it (no powder room honey bee)….. this place is AMAZING…. Clientele ranges from local to Sexy to SEXY!! You can feel yourself without feeling on someone else.. Class without sass type of vibe… honestly I had the best experience out of every other bar within the inner city.. across the street from the best food scene in the city…………. As an outsider looking in… leave the ego at the door and enjoy the local vibe… Not a good place for They/Them (not capable to handle your vibe) not a good place for Midtown Millionaires (just why show up)…. It’s a small space with quality people…. Do yourself a favor and let yourself go….. everyone was MEGA friendly….. Although…… Although….. I’m a little biased… lots of sexy men making it work….. had the best time out of every local in the city….. hands down A+…… Will be returning and happy to be a part of the vibe“

“Hawkers is one of our favs but we have never sat at the bar for this location on the Atlanta beltline! They maintain consistency across all their Atlanta restaurants and we always have a great time. Paired with our amazing bar tender David who was polite, knowledgeable for recommendations and so friendly for general chit chat. Loved it!“
