“Such a cute place! Kam was so friendly! She welcomed us right in and showed us all the cupcake building options. My kids were delighted. She offered for them to taste any of the frostings as well and was present the whole time with wonderful customer service! We had a warm greeting from the owner herself too and just loved the welcoming atmosphere. It was a fun stop on our Spring Break. We will definitely be back!”

The tacos are ginormous! Think it through before ordering your usual number 😂
I tried some of the nachos and they are really good. Chips are really crunchy so I’d like to try the chilaquiles next time.
Mojarra frita was ok but not crispy and salted a bit too much for me. I usually salt mine and add lime but couldn’t eat much of it this time.
Service was great. Everyone was super friendly.
Went on a busy weekend so it was a little tight but no one seemed to mind since the food was so good!”

“Conyers, GA - you need this place! We (6 adults and two children) ordered takeout for dinner. It was a long and complicated order. From taking the order to executing it, the service was great. When we picked up, Jersom (sp?), an owner, personally and patiently went through the whole order with us to make sure it was perfect. It was. Then we saw the home-baked cakes on the counter. We had to have a slice. The carrot cake was awesome, and I'm sure the other two were awesome as well. And the food. Every person, down to the kids, loved what they got and we only wished we could go back soon. But we were travelling and leaving the next day. The menu was amazing - simply something for every taste and want. This restaurant has it all, and needs to be supported. We don't even live there, so it's saying something for us to leave this review when we can't even go back to enjoy this gem ourselves!!”

“I can’t decide what I loved most: the gorgeous historic house, great service, or excellent food. I can’t wait to come back. The Pad Thai is not in a peanut sauce, it is more of a sweet chili sauce. The pad see ew and sushi were also delicious. I got the Thai palace roll as an appetizer and the Thai tea for a drink.”

I would definitely recommend this place . Only slight complain ... I ordered several different 6 count of wings after Thanksgiving . I live in Dallas Ga . Karen’s is located in Lithonia . 1 hour 20 minutes away but it’s worth it . Well now that they’re super busy with corporate accounts 2 of our orders were shorted one wing each. Issue was when we brought it to their attention the next day as it was too far to drive back the same night .....the young lady who takes the call in orders said they were aware one order was short ONE wing when they were cleaning out the fryer but denied that it was 2 missing wings ....only one was missing ?!?!? Well why weren’t we made aware or discounted of they also when they caught their error . Instead we were told that they have orders and are too busy . The lobby was full of people waiting on their food and we were told because we had an issue with “ yesterdays “ order they weren’t accepting anymore orders that night . Yet we were the only ones denied service. Who would complain about 2 missing wings ?!?! Somebody whose driven over an hour to get them!!! I have been a loyal patron of this place for over a decade. That situation sucked and worse that they didn’t rectify it correctly or at all . I still love the food tho ! Customer service is as important as delicious food !”

“I’m sitting outside writing this. The wait staff was busy and didn’t really have time to acknowledge me I guess... I was just picking up an order, but stood waiting and takeout attendant (- new young pleasant man) was clearly busy. Staff walked past trying to complete whatever they were doing, but the COOK HERSELF who was clearly VERY BUSY stopped for a moment and greeted me and handed me my already ready bag. Kudos to her. She is excellent !! That really stood out to me. I wish I could have left my tip directly to her!!”

“I had their wings one day, and got the medium wings (WET)!!! I like my wings sauce and can I say, I was literally eating the sauce with a spoon. They didn't skimp on making them wet, all I needed was some stinky blue cheese crumbles to go on top and some cold celery sticks. To me, the wings were very good. “My family and I have been a fan of Pippins for over 30 years and the slaw and fried okra are our two favorite sides. Well about 3 weeks ago I called and ordered a family meal and the lady that took my order never stated they were OUT of PORK for the dinner. So I arrive and then get ask what I want to substitute the meat for… I chose smoked turkey. (Not a fan ) Then today I placed an order over the phone for a family meal with a large side of okra (for the grand baby) and told 20 min - I drive from McDonough to Conyers only to be told they don’t have Okra today. To top it off the slaw was NOT the original delicious slaw I have always gotten. It was chopped differently and the taste was just not good. Don’t change it if it ain’t broke… so disappointing the last two visits.”

“I LOVE eating at Cracker Barrel. It’s one of my favorite places for breakfast/brunch, mostly during cold weather when they start the huge fireplace. And their store is a must stop before leaving the place. Great ambience and awesome customer service.”

“Possibly the best Chilis in the area. I drive past the one in Stonecrest to get to this one. Much better service and food, and while I'd NEVER go to a Chili's for atmosphere - it's not bad here. Quite pleasant actually.”

“I think it was just a bad day. Apparently they got a new operating system so things were taking a bit longer than usual. I only got a small peach shake and it took an exceptionally long time while I watched people come in after me and order food get their order and leave. Finally someone took notice and got my order. Just not the usual excellent service I'm accustomed to with Chick-fil-A.”

“This was one of the first local taco spots my fiancé and I tried when we moved to the area. We are always happy to support smaller taquerias as those are always our favorite. Although the area is not decorated to let you know there’s tacos there, we just knew from the looks of the truck and the area what we were getting into and we were not disappointed!
The gentlemen working there are always so kind and informative. Their tacos are 10/10! Definitely try the lengua tacos if you have not. I look forward to the weekends as those are the only days they are open. It’s always a treat to look forward to after a long week!”

“I was a tad but skeptical with the restaurant especially since i checked the other replies and because of how late i was ordering the food, but my goodness they did not disappoint. The food is really good, the rice & peas could use a bit more work, but i'll cut them some slack considering how late i ordered. The plantains are good and sweet and the cabbage is good as well. I topped the rice with some oxtail gravy which was pretty good too. Much respect to the owners, keep up the good work !!”
