“First impressions are Everything!! Visiting from Louisiana with a friend, we decided to try the College Park location. The greeter, with a very pleasant personality met us at the door and welcomed us in. The energy was high from the staff as well as inviting. We both decided on the Afta Church, tried the fried green tomatoes and added the bussin muffins. Beautiful presentation, deliciously prepared and from my own experience, the meal was intoxicating. I'm a salt sensitive person and I was pleasantly surprised the meal wasn't high in sodium.I don't eat out often but when I do, I want to enjoy it and I love when the meal and atmosphere leaves a lasting impression. I would absolutely recommend treating yourself and your palette to an unforgettable experience at Virgil's Gullah Kitchen & Bar!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Recently travelled from NY and visited a friend in this area, she suggested this location. From entering it was a good vibe. Friendly staff and service. Even the manager Rick came over introduced himself and made sure we were happy with the food and service. The waitress was attentive, food was delicious and the bartender knew what she’s doing. Loooovvvvvveeeee the reggae band. Definitely on the list to revisit.

“We frequent this location for lunch often. Never had a bad experience. But Chili's, you have GOT to do something about the St. Jude's Charity thing on your check pay digital pad.

At least 8 times either I or someone I work with has accidentally paid money for the charity because we thought it was the tip screen.

It happens so much that a few days ago I asked the server how often people complain and the response was..... troubling.

It's troubling because what is happening is that YOUR guests are then bothered to have paid that, and so they are not tipping YOUR employees/their servers.

That's TERRIBLE. this is an easy fix and if you don't do something about it, you are going to lose good servers....and rightly so!

Fix this for the sake of YOUR employees peace and sanity.”

“The staff here is very polite! You don't get this a lot when there are younger kids/adults working in these establishments. I ordered online, and it told me it would be about 30-40 minutes, but I decided to head that way anyway. I received a text message confirming the order and then 15 minutes later one letting me know the food was done. We ordered a 20-pc wing (lemon pepper, can't remember the other flavor), and the wings were good. We also had an orer of fries and okra, which were both good. We will definitely be back.”

I have a WNB that’s less than 5 minutes from me but I chose to go to this location which is 15 minutes away because of the customer service and the taste of the food. I tried the location in snellville I wasn’t pleased. I have been here 3 times in less than a week. So for now this will be my go to spot.”

All the food was fresh and ready to go. Both Ray and his wife were incredibly warm and helpful to my wife and myself and all our guests. The food….Pippin’s Brunswick Stew maybe my favorite anywhere! Pulled Pork, Chicken, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad all spot on. They even went above and beyond serving two sides I had picked up from another restaurant. Would recommend Pippin’s to anyone for great BBQ and good people. Thanks for your part in making a day I will always remember.”

I have been consistently impressed by the exceptional service provided by two outstanding employees, Nandi and Tyler. I often visit in the evenings, and I must admit, the overall staff experience can be a bit underwhelming when Nandi and Tyler are not present. “I walked out of the Waffle House at 1100 NorTec Dr. because I sat there for ten minutes without being acknowledged while people that can in after me were served. I was the only person at the counter; hard to explain why I was ignored. Anyway, I drove down the street and I walked into this location and it was totally different. Logan greeted me immediately and as I sat at the counter, she asked for my beverage order. A minute later a fresh, hot cup of coffee arrived and she took my order. Food arrived in just minutes, fresh and tasty. Logan checked on me and my cup of coffee three times while I ate, giving me a refill on the second. She greeted everyone that came in and gave them the same great service. Consistency and care. Hard to come by anymore. Good job, Logan. Keep that attitude and life will open many doors for you!”

“I absolutely love this location. The service is always amazing and of course I love the ice cream. My godson likes to come here and get the dinosaur. My favorite is a waffle cone with three scoops. I switch up the flavors most times, but I usually get cookies n cream, pralines n cream, and mint chocolate cookie. This location is close to the highway and they have lots of parking. It’s easy to get in and out. The prices are on target for what they sell in this current market. I didn’t pay over $15 for both of our ice creams. I like how they still decorate the windows with the menu items. It’s classic, but makes it super easy to decide what you want. From what I could see through the window, the space was clean and O did see the employees washing their hands and also cleaning the scoopers. Ice cream is my favorite dessert, so I’ll be back again soon.”
