“My family and I have been a fan of Pippins for over 30 years and the slaw and fried okra are our two favorite sides. Well about 3 weeks ago I called and ordered a family meal and the lady that took my order never stated they were OUT of PORK for the dinner. So I arrive and then get ask what I want to substitute the meat for… I chose smoked turkey. (Not a fan ) Then today I placed an order over the phone for a family meal with a large side of okra (for the grand baby) and told 20 min - I drive from McDonough to Conyers only to be told they don’t have Okra today. To top it off the slaw was NOT the original delicious slaw I have always gotten. It was chopped differently and the taste was just not good. Don’t change it if it ain’t broke… so disappointing the last two visits.“

“I visted the wing house today I ordered 10pc xtra crispy with fries ..I must say the food was nasty. My wings were not crispy it had a funny smell to it like they use the same oil to fry the fish so that was a no for me but the customer service was awesome .“

“My favorite barbecue spot in the metro Atlanta area. Born and raised a Texan I grew up with barbecue and this place is the closes to what I had a home. Their rip tips, beans, potato salad, wings and okra are my favorites. I must be honest though, not a fan of the brisket (when they sell it)...I love mine to break apart when you pick it up (tendernism!) but the last several times I got some they were a little tough to me. But, if you don't mine wrapping it in foil and putting it in the oven till it's tender it still tastes amazing. All in all, I love this place. They've shown me nothing but love, patience and amazing customer care for years now! 100% recommend.“

“I don’t say this lightly the portion sizes are big. The food quality and consistency is very good. My first burger from them tastes just like the last burger. The owner and his wife are super sweet. Also who doesn’t enjoy supporting a small business, quick food times too btw.“

“My brother and I was looking for the Farmers Market and seen this spot and decided to check it out. I got brisket, greens, and fried okr and he got the veggie plate. Everything was absolutely delicious. Prices were decent, atmosphere was good.I will definitely be going back.
