“Y'all I live right down the street, I've been to the liquor store where this Pit house is stationed many times and never really paid it any attention so when the GPS took me here to fulfill my BBQ craving I was skeptical 😅 but I was shocked to learn this place serves some really good food. Her portion size for her price is unbeatable. She gave me Ms Cleo vibes too😍 lol she was kind to me, I mean she greeted me when I walked up to the window and was swift with my plate. Idk what more you could ask for. I got the large rib tips plate with the 2 sides (mac & collards) & it was only $15. It also came with a slice of bread on top but I immediately grabbed that and munched it down. She does not take card payments but she does have a sign up that gives you the option to apple pay or cash app. Thank you so much ma'am. I got full and couldn't finish it. I will suggest getting the BBQ sauce on the side like I did so you can have other dipping options at home. I also got the banana pudding and it was the jello pudding kind idk if I'm saying that right but it was ok. I will definitely be returning to try the chicken next.“

“My husband and I love to find a good Brisket sliced bbq. While on the job my husband had lunch here and came home (an hour away) bragging about how good it was. Naturally, I’ve got to try it…..it is soooo good! I highly recommend it and will be back. Very welcoming and friendly. Our server was excellent and recommended the Alabama White sauce, I haven’t had any this good since I first tried it and fell in love with it. This place is a must try if you’re in the area. The chicken is also moist and flavorful! I will be going back on Fridays and Saturdays when the restaurant is open. I also plan on placing a catering order for the Holidays!“

“We ordered takeout and got the half rack of ribs, and they were incredible. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I especially loved the fresh-made tortillas that come with the ribs, along with the pickled peppers and pickles. Everything tasted fresh and well thought out.

The potato salad was phenomenal while still being a simple, classic potato salad with pickles, which I really appreciated. We also tried the mac and cheese, and it was simple but very tasty.

Overall, a great takeout experience and definitely something we’ll be coming back for.“

“First time visiting Pit Boss BBQ. I had just been to the airport, got hungry, and decided to stop in for some bbq.

It was definitely satisfying and much better than expected. I ordered the BBQ pork plate and rib tips, along with mac & cheese, collard greens, coleslaw, and cornbread.

The hot BBQ sauce was excellent. It had great flavor and made everything even better. The cornbread was just slightly sweet, which was perfect for me.

They also had live music, but it wasn’t too loud, so it was still easy to talk and feel comfortable. Next time, I’d like to try the wings and brisket.“

The food is fresh, they smoke all their meat daily and they use locally sourced produce. They have a full bar. We shared the OG Salmon Chips - house smoked salmon, chipotle cream cheese, red onion & capers on house made potato chips (piucured) they are a little pricey at $16 for 5 servings but are piled high with fresh salmon so we weren't disappointed (they were great). We also had a Garden Chopped Bowl - (thick cut) house bacon, hard boiled egg, corn, red onion, tomato, avocado, bleu cheese and added Pulled Pork (pictured). Very good, highly recommend!“

No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. “We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

I’ve been to all three Lewis Barbecue locations now, and this one in Atlanta—and I’m happy to say the food here is just as good as the OG.

All the meats were cooked and smoked beautifully—super tender and packed with flavor. The sides were just as tasty and really completed the meal.

I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. “The just bbq company catered my wedding. There were no leftovers because of how delicious the food was. My guests raved all night about how the smoked sausages were the best they have ever had.
