“Really great service (save one bad experience when they had electrical problems) and yummy food that’s a twist on Florida/Alabama bbq. I love the use of fresh herbs on most of the plates and pickled things, and most everything I’ve tried is full of umami. This is not a place to go obviously if you want a light meal - full fat, full cream - southern comfort food. I do wish they had a few lighter healthier options on the menu for times when you’re with a group but don’t feel like eating something heavy. Biggest complaint would be that there’s too much salt on everything. Overall this is really great restaurant with awesome atmosphere and great wait staff.“

He not only explained the meats thoroughly but cooked them for us (and with wagyu that’s so important!) showed us how to for our meat refills, made sure we had our drinks…. He was incredible. “Walking in you're greeted kindly and have the option to order at the kiosk or at the cashier. There's pictures to help you choose what to order. I got the pork ribs 2 sides, cucumber salad and 3 dumplings options and it was a good portion! My companion has the bulgogi, japche, and 3 dumplings.
It's nice and clean with a homey/cozy feel. There's an area to pick up utensils. The kind cashier brought our food to the table, it wasn’t too busy so I assume that's why she did it. There's an area to leave your tray. The hot barley tea was good!“

“Beautiful bbq spot! The cocktails are unique and, frankly, wonderful. Their take on the old fashioned was fought over. The brisket had a good smoke rink and not much fat. The pork and pork sauce was sweet and spice. The ho cakes were salty and sweet.“

“First of all, do not eat for at least a week before you eat here. The portions are not only delicious, but HUGE! I had a hot salmon sandwich and there was soooo much salmon on it it was spilling out. My daughter had the beef brisket nachos and has not stopped talking about how much beef brisket was piled on them. Definitely going back again and again and will be buying the bottles of their sauces. I think it was the White Alabama sauce for my salmon sandwich that is so good I could have drank it.“

“Our first visit, we will be back! Great food. fast, friendly service! Weather was perfect so we sat outside on the deck. Very clean. The food is fresh, they smoke all their meat daily and they use locally sourced produce. They have a full bar. We shared the OG Salmon Chips - house smoked salmon, chipotle cream cheese, red onion & capers on house made potato chips (piucured) they are a little pricey at $16 for 5 servings but are piled high with fresh salmon so we weren't disappointed (they were great). We also had a Garden Chopped Bowl - (thick cut) house bacon, hard boiled egg, corn, red onion, tomato, avocado, bleu cheese and added Pulled Pork (pictured). Very good, highly recommend!“

“I first ordered from Grubhub and it was so good we made the drive the next day. The beef and chicken and literally everything is amazing. Excellent taste, large portions, and it was delicious. To top it off, the two sweet women that worked up front made this my favorite place to go and take my daughter for amazing food and an atmosphere that feels like home. “My husband and I love to find a good Brisket sliced bbq. While on the job my husband had lunch here and came home (an hour away) bragging about how good it was. Naturally, I’ve got to try it…..it is soooo good! I highly recommend it and will be back. Very welcoming and friendly. Our server was excellent and recommended the Alabama White sauce, I haven’t had any this good since I first tried it and fell in love with it. This place is a must try if you’re in the area. The orders are detailed allowing you to do thing like put sauces that normally come on food on the side. The food comes out pretty fast as well plating is great and flavors on point… best part you were able to pay with same QR code and just leave no waiting for checks“

I’ve been to all three Lewis Barbecue locations now, and this one in Atlanta—and I’m happy to say the food here is just as good as the OG.

All the meats were cooked and smoked beautifully—super tender and packed with flavor. The sides were just as tasty and really completed the meal.

This wasn’t your average side of mac and cheese. It was creamy, cheesy, rich, and packed with flavor. Every bite had that perfect combination of gooey cheese and tender pasta, and honestly, I could’ve made a whole meal out of it. 😂

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

I have now found not only a place in Atlanta with a fun and inviting ambiance with over the top service but also the absolute best BBQ restaurant in Atlanta, DAS BBQ! Thus far, I have had the BBQ Pork, Ribs, Brisket, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Mac N Cheese, Das Corn, Brunswick Stew, and Banana Pudding and IMHO the most important aspect, which is the meat seasoning and the sauces. No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. Praying DAS opens on the southside of Atlanta. I will be your biggest raving fan!“
