I love the use of fresh herbs on most of the plates and pickled things, and most everything I’ve tried is full of umami. This is not a place to go obviously if you want a light meal - full fat, full cream - southern comfort food. I do wish they had a few lighter healthier options on the menu for times when you’re with a group but don’t feel like eating something heavy. Biggest complaint would be that there’s too much salt on everything. Overall this is really great restaurant with awesome atmosphere and great wait staff.“

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

“Gina is a great server. i walked in an hour before close with three folks from Australia for some BBQ. We had a feast! Gina told us about her faves, gave us a little Pit Boss history, and served us some fantastic ‘cue. I had sliced brisket, some fantastic Brunswick (aka “camp”) stew, and tried several of my friend’s’ sides. Don’t sleep on the collards. I’m really picky about barbecue, but they’re hot barbecue sauce was great. Also, the owner has his own recipe for pepper sauce for the collars, and it was outstanding. I was even impressed with the potato salad and coleslaw, both really good. One friend had some cheesy, creamy mashed potatoes that were fantastic. The baked beans were good, but quite sweet, and frankly, much improved with a dash of the pepper sauce. Portions were ample. Beer selection was really good! I went home with food, and ate it again, another day very happily.
Note: they have moved from their much smaller digs across the street, and I believe the owner now owns this building. It is much improved and really a nice space. I loved it. I would definitely recommend it.“

it’s such a neat find when you can tell that an owners energy and acumen for business is immediately and so boldly reflected in the food they serve. that care just isn’t focused on the meat, but the sides mac n cheese, collard greens, and fried okra are all equally delicious and you can tell great care has gone into the flavor profile.

“I hadn’t been to LadyBird in a long time, but my boss chose to have a going-away surprise party for a coworker there this week. We made no reservations beforehand as our group wasn’t expected to be more than 20, and we all were familiar with the location and knew there’d be plenty of space. Plus, it was 1 pm on a Wednesday, not necessarily prime time for an establishment like ladybird.
I arrived a little before the party to prep and was greeted by Sam. I explained our situation and you would’ve thought Sam was their lead event coordinator (and maybe she is??)! I was so anxious that we’d be a burden, but she was incredibly warm and eager to make sure we had the best time. And we did!
Sam and Ally continuously checked in on us throughout the afternoon, brought waters and bundles of silverware to our table without being asked, and never once did we want for anything.
The food was delicious. The cocktails were INCREDIBLE! They just changed over to their fall menu and we enjoyed everything we ordered. If Sam, Ally, and the other employees who helped us throughout the afternoon are anything to judge ladybird by, then I will be returning soon; whether just for a lunch alone or another party! No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. The food is fresh, they smoke all their meat daily and they use locally sourced produce. They have a full bar. We shared the OG Salmon Chips - house smoked salmon, chipotle cream cheese, red onion & capers on house made potato chips (piucured) they are a little pricey at $16 for 5 servings but are piled high with fresh salmon so we weren't disappointed (they were great). We also had a Garden Chopped Bowl - (thick cut) house bacon, hard boiled egg, corn, red onion, tomato, avocado, bleu cheese and added Pulled Pork (pictured). Very good, highly recommend!“

I’ve been to all three Lewis Barbecue locations now, and this one in Atlanta—and I’m happy to say the food here is just as good as the OG.

All the meats were cooked and smoked beautifully—super tender and packed with flavor. The sides were just as tasty and really completed the meal.

After executing a search on Yelp, I came across GQ BBQ and we decided to pull up. Y’all know I love me some BBQ. Upon arrival, the location was super to find as it sits on the main road. When pulling into the parking lot there is parking on both sides as well as parking in the back. The outside was clean and vibrant. We knew we were in for a treat as we were able to smell the bbq before even getting to the restaurant. Yes, the power of a good aroma to captivate the sense of smell. 😜 Heading inside, the location kept with the vibrant color on the walls as to draw your eyes to the menu. There are ample seating options as well so if you desire to eat in as we did, there is indoor and outdoor seating. Taking some time to review the menu, I decided on the Rib Dinner with Baked Beans, Collards, and I ordered two orders of cornbread as well and decided to not get the white bread that comes with the meal. To note, the cornbread is an extra charge. Once our order was placed, we took a seat and enjoyed the games that were playing on the televisions. As we were engrossed in conversation, before we knew it, our food was ready. I retrieved my plate and headed to my seat. The moment I opened that plate, my entire life smiled. After being enticed by the aromas, I was now overtaken by the visual presentation of this meal. As I opted for the sauce on the side, I was able to see the ribs in their naked state and capture the full fragrance of seasoned pork without the coverings of sauce. Babeeeeeeeeeee, GQ BBQ showed off with this meal. Let’s talk the food: Ribs: well seasoned, tender, meaty, minimal gristle, the right amount of fat for a nice chew, great portion size as the dish comes with ribs and rib tips. The sauce was an added layer of joy. I opted to mix their Gresham blend with the Sweet and my mouth had a full mouthgasm of robust flavors, joy, and excitement. These ribs were the absolute bomb with or without the sauce. Baked Beans: perfectly cooked, well seasoned, fresh. Collards: well doctored, tender,perfect pairing for the ribs. Cornbread: absolute gold status, perfectly sweet, cakey with a light crumble, buttery, golden baked, worth the extra cost. The cornbread is slightly small, so I would suggest getting three. LoL. Overall, GQ BBQ was an amazing experience. The ribs dominate the meal as they should, however, the sides compliment the ribs very well. The entire meal is a 10/10 and I will be back very soon for another order. Though I live nowhere near GQ BBQ, I will make sure to make my am way back a few times a year to have my soul fed and taste buds tantalized.“

“I found this location on TikTok and decided to try them out for my birthday on 2/15/26, which turned out to be the best decision ever. I had a ladies brunch with 9 of my friends and had an amazing time. When I made my reservation with Kodak, he knew it was my birthday and made sure to give me a birthday drink when I arrived and seated my party and I in an area away from everyone else. The staff were very attentive and our food arrived to the table hot and good! I had the fried catfish and grits which I will definitely recommend. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Kodak even brought out Oreo cheesecake for my birthday. I can truly say Sweet Auburn Brunch helped to make my day special and I will definitely be going back.“
