“I've visited Red Rice five different times before writing this review because I wanted to be sure the quality was consistent—and it absolutely is.
Every visit has been an outstanding experience. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The lamb chops are tender and perfectly seasoned, the turkey wing is fall-off-the-bone delicious, and the oxtails are some of the best I've ever had.
It's hard to find a restaurant that delivers the same great quality every single time, but Red Rice does exactly that. If you're looking for authentic, consistently delicious food and a place you can count on, I highly recommend Red Rice. They've definitely earned my five stars!“

“I stopped by South Fork because I was craving authentic southern food. I was visiting the city and staying just 3 minutes away, so my cousins and I decided to check it out. We ordered catfish, mac and cheese, cornbread, and corn. It was by far one of the BEST soul food I've ever had, very authentic. I didn't feel bloated or gross afterward, which is a huge plus. The food tasted way better than the place looked. Super affordable, and out order came out in just 15 minutes.“

“Loma and her team went above an beyond for a ATL inspired wedding request! They were able to curate roughly 200 individually boxed wedding favors for guest. All of the boxes were gone with in minutes of placing them. From the packaging to the seamless orchestrated delivery and the freshness of the wings, couldn't have asked for a better result. “Barrio ATL is an entire VIBEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I ended up here on a Thursday. I was in the Cascade area and in the mood for tacos. After a search on Yelp Barrio ATL popped up and was where we headed for the night. As a heads up, Barrio ATL sits in the corner of the strip plaza. As such, the parking can be a bit tight so be sure to choose a space accordingly. Upon walking in, the ambiance puts you in the mindset of a trendy hookah lounge. Wall seating, chairs, and tables are to the left, and a VIP area style is to the right. The DJ is directly to the left of the VIP area and the bar area is to the left of the DJ. The building is medium-sized and build rectangular so there is ample length as compared to the width. There was no one at the Hostess booth when I walked in, however, the young lady got up from one of the tables in the back, greeted me, and quickly took us to our table. Once seated, the waitress assigned to our table came over and was super nice and welcoming. She introduced herself as Shay and went over the specials for the night. As the ambiance is more than just a casual bar, Shay’s service was superior. Her personality shined and she enhanced the overall experience of the night. Thank you, Shay! Based on the specials for the night I decided to go with the 3 Chicken Birriia Tacos for $9 (this was a great deal as they are usually $20) and a side of fries. As they didn’t have Sweet Tea on the menu I ordered a bottle of water. Shout out to Barrio ATL for serving Fiji. Ha. Babeeeeeeeeee… Here me when I tell you… I don’t know what kind of potatoes these fries were made with but they were the BOMBBBBBBBB. They were thick, perfectly fried, golden to perfection, and well seasoned. For the record, I would go back for the fries alone. LoL! The birria tacos were good as well. As this was my first time having them I don’t have anything to compare them to, however, I enjoyed the experience. The crunchiness of the taco shell with the well-seasoned chicken. The birria consomé was well seasoned and definitely enhanced the flavor of the taco, as such, for my first birria experience I enjoyed it. Furthermore, if the chicken was this good, I can’t wait to try the beef. Overall Barrio ATL is def one to add to the checklist when you are looking for a vibe. The DJ was on point, the ambiance was hittin like it needed to be, and the overall flow of the environment was ideal for a kick it/unwind/grab a drink type of vibe.“

“I went over for a local, homemade breakfast. The first option on the menu was named after a grandmother with my last name so I had to give it a shot. That salmon plate was THE BEST breakfast I've had in years. 10/10, the service was quick, friendly and reliable. When they say you're family when you walk in, they aren't kidding! They'll do anything they can to take care of you if you come with some respect. If you're nearby I gatuntee it tops and food options within 30 minutes, uncontested. I had the Blackened Catfish with rice and beans and an Orange Still Diva Beer To Drink. It was her two favorite items and I had no complaints! “The Beautiul IS a soul food spot that is having its challenges regarding their staff which affects the quality of the food right at the moment. Usually they'll have several different meat entrees but that day they were lacking. A alot of empty spots in the hot bar. The food is usually pretty decent though.“

“I gave Big Back's Cajun Kitchen 5 stars because of the outstanding service provided by the young man who waited on us. He treated every customer as if they were the only person in the restaurant, giving everyone genuine attention, professionalism, and excellent hospitality. He truly made the experience memorable.

The food was excellent! The fried ribs are my favorite, and the red velvet cake was incredibly moist and delicious. I don't get to visit often because I live a good distance away, but this is always my go-to spot whenever I'm headed to the airport.

My only disappointment was that the level of service from the other employees didn't match the standard he set. His work ethic and customer service were exceptional, and I hope the rest of the team follows his example because he represents the restaurant very well.
Big Back's Cajun Kitchen is always worth the stop! The fried ribs are hands down my favorite—they're seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. And don't leave without trying the red velvet cake... it's incredibly moist and one of the best I've had.

“I live in the area and decided to give this place a try with my sister's. First of all, parking is very limited, as it sits in a small plaza just off the highway. Entering, the restaurant is a bit dirty. The doors, floors, table and the areas against the walls and flooring where quite filthy. And the flies, woo. Since they are a Black Owned establishment, we decided to go ahead and try the food. I really wanted to try the Red Snapper, but they were out of it. Bummer. We ordered, got the food home, and the presentation was good. We got a Smothered Chicken plate with Mac n Cheese and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Another one with Cabbage and Mac n Cheese. A Whiting Fish plate with Yams and Mac n Cheese and a Veggie plate of Cabbage, Yams, Green Beans and Mac n Cheese.
The Mac n Cheese was very disappointing. There was no cheese pull, lacked flavor and the cheese was very orange and tasted artificial. The Smothered Chicken over Rice and the Whiting was good. However, the fish could have used a bit more seasoning. The Veggie plate did not come in a plate. Smh. It came in individual side containers. 🙄 The yams where okay, if you like the taste of Karo syrup. The green beans looked sort of old, although on camera they looked very good, go figure. They were also surprisingly very tasty. And last of all, the Garlic Mashed Potatoes were absolutely delicious. Overall we give the food 4 out of 5 stars. This review was done not to hurt this establishment, but to help them see where improvements are needed to better serve the community that supports their business. We need to support our Black Owned businesses and they need to serve us in a higher standard.“
