“Hi there! I just wanted to share a quick note about my experience. I stopped by recently and truly enjoyed myself. The drinks were wonderful and the food was amazing. I actually came twice in one day because it was just that good. The staff were all so kind and welcoming, and it was really nice to see the owner checking in and making sure everything was running smoothly and that everyone felt respected and taken care of. That level of care really shows. Thank you for creating such a warm and enjoyable place to visit. I’m looking forward to coming back again soon! 😊 Especially to see Lonnie at the bar … very inviting and personable !!!! And I love that he washes his hands in between and takes time to talk.“

“The food was okay, but unfortunately, there were a few issues. They forgot to include 🥄 in the bag,😀🙄✌️ which was inconvenient. I placed my order ahead of time, but still had to wait 15–20 minutes after arriving, even though I drove 20 minutes to get there.(Highway OTR)Please try to have the food ready on time in the future. It would really improve the experience.

“I've been eating from the Smyrna location for years. I haven't been in awhile so on this particular day, I was met with the same friendly smile as always. The owner/operator took my order and was very friendly. The restaurant and restroom were very clean and there was a steady flow of customers coming in and picking up their orders. The food here was awesome. For this to be my first time coming back in awhile , I loved it. Thank you, This Is It!!“

“It's a food truck. It's hard to find good fried fish in Cobb. I ordered the fried whiting with sides of collards and rice n beans. The fish was fried and seasoned perfectly, not salty at all. The rice and beans were the best I ever had. I wonder if they sell a pint size of the rice and beans. The collards were good, too. I loved the food, a good value for the money. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in that part of town.“

“Ordered late night after World Cup event around 10:30pm at my hotel downtown. Worth the wait the lemon pepper is my favorite with drum wings and fries. I hope to try again next time in Atlanta in comforts of hotel next time. Hope you invest back to bigger kitchen and more amazing food because I now see why the food magic city is great. “This was my first visit to African Soul Food, and I found the restaurant through Google. I ordered the Nigerian okra soup with assorted meats, jollof rice, red bean soup, and flatbread — everything was delicious and exceeded my expectations.
My server, Chris, was phenomenal. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. Since it was my first time trying Nigerian dishes, he offered samples so I could choose confidently without wasting food, which I truly appreciated.
