“The empanadas are very good and the default sauce is pretty good. They used to be overpriced, but prices have adjusted down some which is good to see. Combos do not come with drinks. We only got two sauces with 3 3 piece empanada trios which I'm assuming was just overlooked, but I do know they want to charge if you ask for extra sauces. The chicken itself is expensive for what it is and I probably won't give it a chance. I just can't justify paying the price to try it when good chicken is available all over the place nearby. Service was slow we waited outside for at least 20 minutes for our food.“

“WHEN I TELL YOU I loved EVERYTHING I ordered..the wings were flavorful, yellow rice seasoned well, fries still crispy (although I ordered DoorDash) but that SWEET POTATO CHEESECAKE was my absolute favorite!

“So I am pregnant and was craving liver, rice and gravy. I needed it to taste like my mother’s. My man and I were looking for a place in the area and finally decided on Mrs. Pat’s Soul Food. Upon arrival I was happy to learn that it was the same people that had We Got Soul restaurant, me and my mom use to eat there all the time. The liver was cooked to order and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I got with rice and gravy, Mac and cheese, collards with corn bread. EVERYTHING was good. I wish the cornbread muffin was bigger but aside from that I was pleasantly impressed. My man enjoyed his catfish and fries as well. We will definitely eat here again!“

“Passing through a week ago and pulled this place up on Maps. Not going to lie, when it took us to a place in the gas station parking lot we were not sure but decided to go in and see what they had since there was a constant flow of people doing pickups. We had catfish, wings, chicken gizzards and it was all very good. The catfish was our favorite! Only 2 tables inside but not many folks were eating in, mostly call ahead for pickup. To top it off, I accidentally left my purse on the back of the seat and didn’t realize until we were back home 2 hours away. In a panic, I called and they had just found it and put in the office for me to go back to pick up the next day. Not only hood food but trustworthy people as well!!! I’d definitely go back next time I’m in the area to support these folks.“

“OMG y’all have to make this your go-to restaurant. The restaurant was welcoming, clean, and the team members are friendly! It was our first time and I’m so glad that I searched “soul food, Buford, GA” in Google Maps. I had the fried fish, Mac and cheese, and turnip greens with cornbread. My husband had the ribs, coleslaw, BBQ beans, and Mac and cheese. Our son had the brisket sandwich and fries. It was so tasty and delicious. We all left with leftovers and with smiles. “Yes I definitely recommend them. Today is my son’s 12th birthday and he wanted some funny little creature on his cake that I made for him. At first he was wanting to put it on with icing and I told him that it can be a pain sometimes especially if he messes up it’s kinda hard to go back and fix it. So I called Decadent Creations and asked Chief AJ if he could print an edible Image. And without hesitation he said yes ma’am I sure can. And I asked him if he could do it small enough to fit in between the words happy and birthday on my sons cake and he said yes I told him that I wanted it 3“ x 3“ and without hesitation he said yes ma’am I can do that. Other places I called either said they couldn’t do it at all or that it had to be in an 8 and a half by 11. So thanks you very Chief AJ. We will definitely use your service again.“

“This is a lovely and budget friendly place. Customer service was amazing and the food, oh my God! Was delicious.
I had Egusi and poundo and I loved it.
My spouse had Banga and poundo and I was jealous instantly.
Oh I forgot the goat pepper soup!! It was very delicious.
