“Wings Avenue is a excellent place to eat. The owner is very friendly and gives excellent customer service. The food is absolutely marvelous. Easy to find. If you want a quick bite to eat, this place is for you. (Wing’s Avenue has been remodeled) Under new management.”
“Very nice seafood place in Lawrenceville. I love this place always good music clean plenty of seating inside and out. I love the menu choices and how helpful each staff member is. You feel at home like the food was cooked by your favorite auntie or uncle. Seasoned to perfection. My fav is the sweet chili whitingKid-friendliness: Kind menu perfect amount of food for them”
“I've ordered from this place almost half a dozen times now. If you're ordering takeout try to order directly from their websites so they don't have to pay any fees to the 3rd party companies. Not to mention, that fee is just passed onto you as the consumer so why be an idiot just order on their website. Their website is quick and easy to order. They don't make you pay ahead of time or create an online account which I like. So don't ruin it people by ordering and not picking up because they'll be forced to change that policy if they get stiffed enough. Okay onto the food. The wings are always nice, fresh, and delicious! Did I forget to mention fast? I ordered 40 wings and they were ready in 15 minutes. I have ordered lemon pepper, honey lemon pepper, and I'm addicted to the volcano hot. Before you get all bent out of shape on pricing her wing, these aren't your tiny American Deli wings...they are the same size as WingStop.Support local businesses, food flavors, and fast service. Great service and always generous on the celery and ranch.”
“My dad sent me and my brother into the store to pick up the food he had ordered over the phone. As I walked in, the guy greeted my little brother with a smile and waved at me. I told him did he have the food order "hunter', and he said yes. He told us to walk to the other side of the counter and gave us our food. As we were about to leave, he said, "Wait!" and asked if we wanted seasoning on our fries (LIFE SAVER). I said yes and pored seasoning on our fries with the guy saying, Have a good day multiple times. This place is so underrated that I could also tell that he was the only one working there. 10/10 NOW WE HAVE WINGS FOR 4 DAYS!”
“This place has the best hibachi hands down. Was curious as to what food they had so I stepped in and the cashier was helpful in giving a good recommendation. The price is also friendly for the good amount of food they give. The overall atmosphere was also very clean. Definitely coming back here!!”
“I believe they have changed up their business model, as the interior was different than prior reviewer's pics. I stopped in for lunch takeout, and had the Cevapcici. The large (10.00) was enough for 2 days of lunch. The bread is AMAZING. I had mine served with Kajmak and Ajvar (think thick sour cream and a roasted pepper spread) - recommended. It is a cafe with a beautiful dessert display. It shares space with an Eastern European grocery. Restaurant is mostly Bosnian, but there are more recognizable foods to the timid.I WILL go back.”
“I had seen this place recommended and was desperate for good fried chicken in the area. It was the best fried chicken I think I’ve ever had! Made to order so we waited about 15 minutes, will call ahead next time. It was hot and fresh and delicious. Had mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese sides. Everything was amazing!!”
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pakwan, which offers a wide range of traditional Pakistani dishes with a modern twist. While the restaurant was understaffed during my visit, the staff was working tirelessly to make sure everyone was taken care of.The first thing that caught my attention was the menu, which features a variety of appetizing options. I decided to try the chicken tikka Philly sandwich, which was a mouth-watering combination of tender chicken, sautéed onions and peppers, and a spicy sauce served with a side of fries. The bread was soft and fresh, and the sandwich had just the right amount of heat. Another standout was the aloo tikki sandwich, which was a delicious combination of mashed potatoes, peas, and spices, wrapped in a bun.But the real star of the show was the beef nihari, a slow-cooked beef stew that was bursting with authentic flavor. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the gravy was rich and savory. I paired it with plump naan, which was freshly baked and had just the right amount of chewiness. However, the beef kabab roll that we ordered was just ok.For dessert, we tried the rolled ice cream, which was a delightful treat that was as fun to watch being made as it was to eat. The desi chai was another highlight, a strong and flavorful tea that was the perfect way to cap off the meal.Despite the restaurant being understaffed, the staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure everyone was satisfied. They are clearly dedicated to their craft, and it shows in the quality of the food they serve. While the restaurant is relatively new and the owners could use some help promoting their business, I have no doubt that word of mouth will quickly spread and Pakwan will become a go-to spot for Pakistani cuisine in the area.To add to the already impressive menu, I just found out that starting tomorrow (4/29/23), Pakwan will be serving a halwa puri platter with Chana, aloo bhujia and qeema from 12-3p on the weekends. I am already looking forward to trying it out! The combination of the sweet halwa and the savory chana, aloo bhujia and qeema is a classic Pakistani breakfast staple, and I am excited to see how Pakwan puts their own spin on it.Given the high quality of the food that I have already tried at Pakwan, I have no doubt that the halwa puri platter will be just as delicious. The thought of fluffy puris, hot and spicy chana, aloo bhujia, and rich and flavorful qeema is making my mouth water already!I have been thoroughly impressed with my experience at Pakwan, from the dedicated staff to the innovative twists on traditional dishes. The addition of the halwa puri platter only solidifies my belief that this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine.Overall, I highly recommend Pakwan for anyone who is looking for delicious Pakistani food with a modern twist. The menu has something for everyone, and the staff is dedicated to making sure you have a memorable dining experience.”
“By far, the best wings I've ever had and currently my #1 recommendation to anyone visiting Lawrenceville. My order: -10 pc - Hot Braised w/ Lemon Pepper Sprinkles (crispy) (party wings; not jumbo wings... Never jumbo wings). - fries (soft crinkle fries) or fried rice (depends on how I'm feeling) - lemonade (The lemonade is filled to the brim, chilled, without ice. Don't forget to grab it out the fridge before you leave and try your best to wait for your food. It's delicious!) -blue cheese (because it's obviously the best choice). You have to let it cool down for about 15 mins to achieve perfection. I lived 15 mins away, so by the time that I arrived they were done (no wait) and by the time I got home, they were perfect temperature. I have recommended this meal countless times, and I have never heard anyone was disappointed. Disclaimer: this is a to-go food type of joint. Treat it like a better version of American Deli. This is a true hole in the wall. A treasure found by word of mouth and proximity.”
“Great service! I always call ahead and my order is ready and waiting for me within 10-15 minutes. They send you a text when your order is ready. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Chicken wings are cooked hard & crispy but still juicy. The fried rice has a unique blend of veggies like broccoli & bell pepper but it's yummy. The inside of the store is always clean, neat & organized. They have a few seats you can sit and eat down at, however most people grab and go. Give them a try!!”
“Finally, Real fried rice , not white rice in soy sauce, real fried rice with onions and sprouts like it's supposed to be. the shrimp and broccoli was hot and delicious. Glad I found this spot for regular Chinese because I usually wait until I get to Philly. happy this is close by.”
“Great portions and quality food. The wings are an ideal size (not small at all) and the fries are decent. They even let you apply the fries seasoning yourself when you do takeout. My kids devoured the chicken fried rice and the chicken hibachi was nicely seasoned. I'm including pictures of their menu as of August 2023. You'll save a lot of money ordering takeout over the phone instead of paying the markup for GrubHub or Doordash pickup. There weren't any patrons while I went to pickup but I'll consider going in person as they have plenty of space in the restaurant.”
“Love coming here. The menu has great drinks, but the bartenders will make you anything you request. The food is really darn good. I mean, who expects a great plate of pasta at a sports bar? I always come on Tuesdays to play trivia and get the chicken tenders, which are on sale that day and are always steaming hot and juicy on the inside- best in the area.Prices are crazy reasonable compared to what other places are charging. If you're debating coming here, do it, you won't regret it.Parking: They just recently paved the parking lot and finished nearby construction of a car wash. I've never had an issue finding a parking spot, even on the busiest nights.”
