“I had been looking for a new soul food spot and found this place on goggle. Since the reviews were good I gave it a shot. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I bought 3 dinners (2 posted) and Me and my family agreed.... the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! The heavey for the turkey chops, omg! And the rib tips, meat falls off the bones. The sides, all of them were so good. Even the customer service was great. I admit, it's not the typical place I would go to if I drive pass. That's why it's good to check out reviews. The price was very reasonable for what you get. We will be back!“

“We decided to check out Virgil’s on the spur of the moment while we were in Atlanta… from us entering the door, manager Nassier made us feel welcome and thoroughly explained the menu. “My first visit to this little Gem. Very popular with Airport employees. I ordered Jambalaya, Mac n cheese and coco bread. I requested some brown gravy over the Jambalaya. I had a whiting fish plate and chicken wings were delicious and so were the sides. I had green beans, mashed potatoes, candies yams, and red beans and rice. All were flavorful, uniquely spiced, and tasted home made.
