“My husband and I went in This is it for dessert only today. We ended up getting meals mine was the smothered Pork chops over rice, cabbages, and Mac and cheese. My husband was meatloaf, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes with a banana pudding and strawberry cake. The food did not disappoint. Whomever cook the food did a wonderful job. The peach drink as well was a great refreshment. The staff was very kind and nice. I would give this place a 10/10 for the food, the atmosphere, the staff, and cleanliness. I will return.“

“I Was Completely Blown Away At This Restaurant. I Was Sat By A Beautiful Host Which Turn Out To Be My Server. Renisha Was Very Knowledgeable About The Ga Craft Beers. She did an amazing job by explaining each item on the menu. I Gave Her The Opportunity Of Ordering My Food and Beer. Oh Boy She Did Not Disappoint. I had the Blackened Catfish with rice and beans and an Orange Still Diva Beer To Drink. It was her two favorite items and I had no complaints! Renisha service was the best service I have had in years. My water cup was never low and if I had more time I would have had another beer. Renisha Was Very Patient With Me Even Though The Restaurant Was Very Busy. She is also a team player and is willing to pick up the slack from others. As A Restaurant Manager Please Give This Server Her Flowers, She Deserves it !“

“This was a step up from the typical hotel restaurant. Appetizer and main courses were very well prepared. Shandi was our waitress. She was professional and had a very friendly attitude and smile. “We decided to check out Virgil’s on the spur of the moment while we were in Atlanta… from us entering the door, manager Nassier made us feel welcome and thoroughly explained the menu. Once we were seated our waiter Brandon did an exceptional job taking our order and keeping our glasses full… the atmosphere was great and it experience was like none other…I can say this was one of the best if not the best dining experiences…“

“This place deserves a higher rating. Low key counter service. 10-15 min wait even when its busy. The wings.. perfect size. Small, crispy, saucy. Honey hot is the one for me. Hook up culture is real here. I get 20 piece once or twice a week. Sometimes I get my order and there's a couple extra. The woman who receives the orders is very polite and always remembers me. These wings I would rate above trap wings and magic city for sure.“

“I was definitely surprised how good the food tasted. This is my second time coming back and everything so far has been seasoned well. I appreciate that they have $10 value meals, $17 meals and $20 meals just to name a few. Not sure how long those prices will last but they have something for everyone’s pocket!!“

“Other than the slow kitchen, this place is great. It IS located in the hotel entrance. We didn't realize that's where it was when we got there. Food was great! Grits were outstanding according to my friends that ate there with me. Brisket was excellent and mashed reds and asparagus were done perfectly. Great spot!“
