Based on the reviews, Piccadilly is a cafeteria-style restaurant where customers pick their own food. The steam table looks appealing, and the food smells good. Some meals are delicious, and the carrot soufflé is amazing. The service can be impeccable, and the dining room is sometimes quiet and clean.
However, the restaurant needs a makeover. The old tables and booths are worn out and sink in, and the bathrooms need renovations. The Mac & cheese has diced onions, which is not liked. The menu and prices are not visible before getting a tray, and the prices of entrees are surprising. Some food is barely warm, including chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, and Nashville hot chicken. The fruit salad is warm with hard, not ripe fruit. The green salad is not cold, and the pasta salad is too vinegary. The food is not salty, but the lack of adequate food temperatures is a concern. The line moves slowly on Sundays with only one cashier working. The servers, cashiers, and cleaning staff are all nice.
