Food was AMAZING 👏
The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was outstanding! The gentleman at the front was so friendly and generous—he made sure I had plenty of food, and the portions were huge for such a reasonable price.
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and worth every penny. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in the Atlanta area. If you're looking for great food, amazing service, and great value, this is definitely the place to visit!

Based on customer reviews, It's About South! serves real, homemade soul food made with care. The smothered chicken and turkey wings are cooked perfectly with really good gravy. The fried fish is cooked to perfection with a crisp exterior and moist interior. The pork chops, fried turkey wings, Mac & cheese, collard greens, cabbage, cornbread, and potato salad have all been outstanding. The food is flavorful, well-seasoned, and consistently delicious. The customer service is amazing, with friendly and professional staff. The only issue noted by some is that the rice can be mushy, and one reviewer mentioned the ordering process could be difficult for older customers. The restaurant has outside seating only. Despite these small concerns, the food is on point, and guests are returning multiple times in the same week, with many planning to come back for more juicy pork chops.
