“This is the best bar on the southside. Manny is the best bartender in my opinion. He always acknowledges you when you come in and makes sure you have a good time. Nick and a few other staff also are good about stepping in to help out it make's your experience great. This bar gives you that home away from home vibe most of us in our 30s look for.“

She did an amazing job by explaining each item on the menu. I Gave Her The Opportunity Of Ordering My Food and Beer. Oh Boy She Did Not Disappoint. I had the Blackened Catfish with rice and beans and an Orange Still Diva Beer To Drink. It was her two favorite items and I had no complaints! Renisha service was the best service I have had in years. My water cup was never low and if I had more time I would have had another beer. Renisha Was Very Patient With Me Even Though The Restaurant Was Very Busy. She is also a team player and is willing to pick up the slack from others. “My first visit to this little Gem. Very popular with Airport employees. I ordered Jambalaya, Mac n cheese and coco bread. I requested some brown gravy over the Jambalaya. The flavor was absolutely amazing. That dish needs to be family size. The Mac was perfectly cheesy and the bread was Hot and Fresh. It was also nice chatting with the cook or owner. “The food taste amazing. The YouTube video I saw about the food served at this restaurant was not lying about how the food taste. I had a whiting fish plate and chicken wings were delicious and so were the sides. I had green beans, mashed potatoes, candies yams, and red beans and rice. All were flavorful, uniquely spiced, and tasted home made.

“So I just left from up here and I typically stop here maybe once a week or a very frequent enough to know exactly what I want. I only come this way to order the fried green tomatoes in the past I’ve had issues but whoever the owner is has always made it right. I respect them as a business. I do enjoy their food, but whoever the chef is up there today and the cashier I just ordered a large order of fried green tomatoes. I paid $10.26. I open my container and it’s only five slices of tomatoes and they are tiny. I get it whatever tomato is on hand depending on if they’re in season or not it is the summer. They are definitely in season and it’s just no excuse for this sorry excuse for a large order $10 worth of fried green tomatoes. Whoever chef James is he is the reason single-handedly that I will not be returning. I just called up there and try to double check and make sure that he knew it was a large order and not a small order and he decided to double down on these small soggy worthless tomatoes $10 for five slices of green tomatoes and I come up there enough to know this is a small order and typically a large order contain 7 to 8 slices and they are much bigger. This is bull crap if I pay it with my card, I would have disputed it.“
