“I went for dinner on a Wednesday. It wasn't busy at all and the service was quick! The food was really good! I got the classic smash burger and Mac attack fries. My sons got the smash melt and grilled chicken. Both were very flavorful and not dry (sometimes grilled chicken can be overcooked making it dry but this one was not!) The flavored lemonades were a hit! I highly recommend you try them out for a creative twist on a burger and fries.“

Although, he wasn’t our server, he found us a place to be seated and checked in on us numerous times to make sure that we were good. You just don’t find people that truly care and are just good people. I will be coming back and bringing family, just on the experience he provided for me and my friend that night. “The Local is a dive bar (in a good way!) with some really good wings. The line was out the door and once you get in, you order at the counter and then have to find your own table. When we got inside, it was packed inside and every table was also taken. I’m assuming that The Local is usually this busy because also they talk about how they regularly sell out of wings. When we asked, they said they sell out usually 2.5-3 hours after opening so you definitely have some time. The wings themselves were really good! To be honest, I’m usually a boneless wing kind of person and these are traditional wings, but they were great! I went for the 1/2 & 1/2 so I could try two different flavors. I went with the Korean and Spicy Korean and they’re quite different. The Korean is a bit more sweet and the Spicy Korean has a little kick. If you like spice, the Spicy Korean is very mild - not a bad thing, just not super spicy if that’s what you’re looking for. But, it’s still good. Both sauces were good, but I’d go with Spicy Korean as my favorite of the two. I also got a side of fries and that was a pretty generous size which was nice! Overall, cool local dive bar vibe and really really good wings! If you go, just go early and be ready to have to keep an eye out for a table to snag in a free for all style!“

“Gina is a great server. i walked in an hour before close with three folks from Australia for some BBQ. We had a feast! Gina told us about her faves, gave us a little Pit Boss history, and served us some fantastic ‘cue. I had sliced brisket, some fantastic Brunswick (aka “camp”) stew, and tried several of my friend’s’ sides. Don’t sleep on the collards. I’m really picky about barbecue, but they’re hot barbecue sauce was great. Also, the owner has his own recipe for pepper sauce for the collars, and it was outstanding. I was even impressed with the potato salad and coleslaw, both really good. One friend had some cheesy, creamy mashed potatoes that were fantastic. The baked beans were good, but quite sweet, and frankly, much improved with a dash of the pepper sauce. Portions were ample. Beer selection was really good! I went home with food, and ate it again, another day very happily.
Note: they have moved from their much smaller digs across the street, and I believe the owner now owns this building. It is much improved and really a nice space. I loved it. I would definitely recommend it.“

“Ken’s Wings is legit. Don’t let the interior or exterior look scare you away. These were the best wings I’ve tried in Atlanta! The teriyaki flavor was perfect. The price was great. The toast was a nice touch. The chili dog was great but I’ll skip the slaw next time because it has too much mayo for my tastebuds. The reason for my deduction is the wait time. It took over an hour for the order to be ready and it was worth it but I was not expecting to wait more than the 30 minutes that were estimated. My family loved the food and we’d come back. This food is for to go only. There was no place to sit inside to eat. Be ready to wait and take a nap after having it.“

“The cashier was actually super friendly, knew her menu details entirely when I asked probably what sounded like dumb questions & then to top it off, she was super patient when I had to alter my order after already paying. I can't deny it- I was impressed being it's so rare to actually receive any kind of customer service at all, let alone fantastic service. The reason I dont give 5 stars is because it takes forEVER for your food to be cooked. Then my boyfriend, obsessed with chicken wings, said they don't know how to cook there, that his wings sucked awfully, apparently they were tooth cracking hard to eat.

“Leaving this review just to keep everything honest.. I had to wait 2 hours to get my food yesterday. This was the first time I had to wait that long. I believe it was an honest mistake in the kitchen but the food absolutely made up for the wait! Not only was the food crazy good, the cook gave us a lil summin for the wait! “I’ve been coming here quite a few times to take advantage of the lunch special which is a 6 piece wing, fries and a drink. I usually always get the honey lemon pepper but today with a friend of mine, I decided to do the honey lemon pepper with mild sauce on the side on the regular wings. My friend decided to do the boneless wings, honey barbecue and lemon pepper. He really enjoyed my recommendation.

Honestly, really well worth the money definitely recommend taking advantage of Pizza Hut being next-door to get a little pizza wing combo, which is the reason I usually always come here.
