“If you’re in North Marietta and craving some good barbecue, Smokehouse Q is a spot you definitely need to check out. It’s located in a Krog Street Market-style setting with a bunch of different restaurants, but this BBQ place easily steals the show.
The moment you walk up, the smell of smoked meat hits you, and that’s when you know you’re about to eat something special. The potato wedges, mac and cheese, and baked beans are easily some of the best sides around, full of flavor and cooked just right.
The Reuben sandwich is the standout for me. It’s great on its own, but when you dip it into their spicy BBQ sauce, it goes to another level. The BBQ sandwich is also really good, tender and packed with that smoky flavor you want from a proper BBQ joint. And the ribs are absolutely amazing juicy, perfectly seasoned, and fall right off the bone. Plus, the prices are very fair for the quality you get.
There’s rarely a long wait, and the food comes out hot and fresh every time. If you’re anywhere near the area, make sure to swing by Smokehouse Q. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back the next day for another plate.“

“My first time trying was today!!! Listen to me when I say I have been forever turned on to a TURKEY RIB. These were the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. My kids are the most pickiest eater but when I say thee bones were CLEAN I mean just that. The family was very humble and sweet and I would choose them over commercial anything!“

“Really disappointing. We used to go here when it was owned by Sam and Dave. That was a long time ago. Recent visits convinced us not to go any more. Both pork and beef dishes were primarily fat, and the potato salad was dry with weird texture around the edges. And don't get me started on the lack of cleanliness. Sitting at a booth, the wooden walls were filthy--really disgusting. No, I don't own or work at or know anyone who has a competing bbq place. Just can no longer recommend this one.“

“Last two visits were disappointing. First time the lady at the drive through window was short and didn’t want to answer my questions trying to push me through the line, I guess this was a busy time of the day and they cared about throughput more than customer service. Second time I ordered a rib plate and got beef instead, found out when I already arrived back to work and it was too late to fix. Portions have reduced since first time I visited about two years ago. But this is a tendency with all places in the area recently.“
“Our dinner last night from Cisco’s Smokehouse food truck was amazing. The Cuban sandwich and rice were out of this world and the loaded fries with brisket were delicious as well. If we lived in the area we would definitely seek them out frequently. Customer service was also a win! Five star experience for sure😋“

“It was my first time there, though I’d seen the place for years. I’d moved to another area of town so I never got a chance to dine there. I recently was in the area and craving barbecue and I remember Jim n Nick’s. Hooray! I ordered the 2lb classic rib with baked bean and Mac and cheese. The mini cheese muffins and sweet butter spread was unexpected and awesome. And 5 minutes later my order was on the table and looking delicious. When I ate the first rib I was in love, food love. The best ribs I’ve eaten so far. I am looking forward to visiting again with friends. I want to experience more items on the menu.“

“I ordered Eru & fufu, okra soup and Jollof rice. The eru was so good ? , I enjoyed the jollof rice & goat meat.My only complaint will be the okra that didn’t tasted fresh. They gave me a bowl of pepper & tomatoes mixed on the side to go with all my dishes. I recommend and definitely will be going back.“
