I originally tried Old South for the first time and my hush puppies and stew were delicious- but my ribs were a tad overcooked. I talked to the lovely Sharon and she apologized and told me to come back and talk to owner Joy. The next day I returned and talked to Joy and she was a ball of sunshine and joy! Amazing food, super-friendly staff. Our waitress gave us all hugs since we were new. The pulled pork and peach cobbler were probably the best I've ever had. Bathroom was slightly dirtier than I would prefer but, but overall experience is still 5 stars.

Well worth the tripWe have spent some time looking for good BBQ... Now we have found it! The hot is spicy but with good flavor. The meat is well seasoned. The service is southern and friendly. A definite go!Long time frequent visitor now. Still great and still worth the trip. Get the sweet hot sauce and get the best of both!
