“MANNNN! Sometimes, you just gotta drop in on the Mom & Pop Shops for theeee absolute best kept secrets the community has to offer! The staff nice and the dining area was a decent size, clean, and quiet. The parking was minimal. But, it appears to be enough. Looked like most folks were not dining in any way.Now..... ABOUT THE FOOD! ?It was my very first [but definitely NOT last] time patronizing this establishment today just before they closed @ 2pm. I typically try not to go overboard ordering too much in case I don't like the food. So, I made a simple 3 bone sandwich order and went to the car to eat.MANNNN-O-MANNNN! ???I LITERALLY... got out of my car and went back inside to tell them how gooooood those ribs were! ??????They were... SOOOO JUICY, A Lil' FATTY, SEARED ON THE OUTSIDE -- JUST ENOUGH TO GIVE THE RIB A LITE CRUNCH! AND THAT BBQ SAUCE WAS A-MA-ZING!!! ?? ???I definitely have to take my husband back asap!Tysm guys!Parking: Looks efficient for a majority to-go audience.“
“Willing to drive the extra fifteen minutes past the location closer to my house to see Shelly behind the bar. Quick, accurate, and friendly service made for the perfect lunch. I understand bartenders can’t receive raises, however I do hope she is properly appreciated by her team.“
“The food here is amazing! We tried the chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, fries, cornbread, and tenders. Everything was absolutely delicious. We ate inside and they even came out to check on how the food was and tell us about the restaurant and the chef. Very impressed - especially for food this inexpensive. We’ll be back soon to try more of the menu!“
“Subday was my mom and I’s first time trying out Korean BBQ. Our experience at KPOP was excellent! We were able to put our name down for a table and they called us when it was ready. Our waiter Aidan made our entire experience smooth and had several recommendations for what proteins to try and how they should be cooked. He was always available for any questions or needs we had throughout our meal. Everything we ate was delicious and the quality was incredible. It’s all you can eat for two hours and the pricing was very fair for the quality and quantity of food. Aidan made our first impressions of a new cuisine and restaurant a memorable one and we will definitely be back again soon!Dietary restrictions: My mom has a shellfish allergy and our waiter was very knowledgeable on which items/marinades she should avoid to prevent any interactions or cross contamination“
“I was very skeptical, this place was far cleaner than I would expect from a good BBQ place, but they had real ribs (St. Louise cut) instead of baby back so I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. This is my new favorite place for ribs and brisket. The pork and chicken were really good too, and we had okra and mac and cheese for sides and both were very good. I almost dinged them one star for being too clean, but the blues playing in the background made up for it. Very well done, I’ll be back many times.“
“First time we went to the place. We are from another country and I always look for local restaurants with history to go to with my son.Upon entering, we were greeted with a warm hug by sweet Joy. She even took our order. The food is very good, especially the pulled pork, which I really like, and its sweet bbq sauce. The price is not bad for the size of the dishes and options. The place is an old and traditional restaurant that still maintains details of its history in pictures on the wall and others spread throughout the restaurant. It's really really good and worth visiting!Thank you for making us so welcome, Joy!“
“Looks like a hole in the wall but it is nice restaurant. I had steak frites and it was good. My coworker had the pork sandwich and wanted another. It is hard to find a spot with good food and customer service. This place has both and the time it took to receive the food was appreciated as well.“
“First time visit when a group of 16 men. Service was wonderful and the food was outstanding. Plenty of seating in a nice atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the chopped brisket sandwich with Brunswick stew side. Everyone talked about how good the food was. We will be back!“
“Love this restaurant, they're amazing for catering orders. I've ordered from them for company events (50+ people), home parties (25 people) and for family dinners (6 people). Every time I've called for big orders the person I talk to is SO helpful and knowledgeable. You may have to wait for a little bit (~10 minutes) when you get a pick-up order, but the food is hot and fresh because of it. The space for dine-in orders is small, so if you have a big party just do pick-up/delivery.“
“My husband and I have been looking all over for some real bbq and we finally came across Big Smokey’s.. First off, whoever is cooking back there definitely put their whole foot in everything that we ate because every bite just kept getting better and better!! Their bbq sauce?!?! chef’s kiss! So happy that we found this place!! Definitely going to be our bbq spot!! The service was great also. The sweet lady was so helpful with recommendations. Honestly wanted to buy the whole menu but maybe next time lol“
“While driving through the area, we decided to stop for lunch at Sonny's. Our waitress Heather remembered us from our last stop there! Food was great and it was nice to know that their staff takes care of their customers. Will be back on our next trip!“
“Amazing BBQ. Anytime you find a food establishment that only opens on the weekends. 9 out 10 it's going to rock your world lol. It doesn't disappoint here. It's a "pick up and go" type of spot. So don't plan on staying. But it's a must try in my opinion. Ribs fall off the bone. Mac and cheese is on point. And the Collared greens are very well seasoned. The cajun fries are so good there is a saying. When anyone that's been to Frank's asks " where you get the fries from?" And you say Frank's? They will be like " o yeah that makes sense.'' It's a must try if you're in the area when they are open.“
“Lockdown BBQ catered my companies Thanksgiving meal. People couldn’t stop talking about the incredible taste of the food. They arrived on time and set up all with a friendly smile. The turkey was the star of the show. Juicy and delicious. Please go support this amazing business!“
“Only THE most amazing brisket I have ever eaten, every single time i have been! On top of just as delicious fried okra I swear that is made for KINGS! Lol! Literally mouth wateringly amazing... I have never had a bad experience, and I am not quite sure how this place isn't slammed packed full at all times!“
“So, I just wanted to leave a quick not. This was a dining experience that was well worth the time and money. I happen to do reviews all over the world. This has to rank one of the best social places to visit in Georgia. Marietta GA. This barbq restaurant was very well done. The whitebeard was soft. The pork was tender. The collards were cooked just to the right tenderness. The baked beans were piping hot, and the counter person was very nice. I would highly recommend a stop by the Marietta marker on a Saturday.Great job.“
“Love eating at Happy Hawg! ? We have been eating here since it opened years ago, and even after the owner retired and sold it, the food is the same and just as wonderful! It is definitely a family-friendly restaurant with lots of BBQ and fried catfish, shrimp, and other fish. I'm allergic to most saltwater fish, so I don't pay much attention to those names. Great sweet tea! Sweet servers and staff. A bit better priced now than it used to be. ?“
“This is my go to bbq when I am traveling to Atlanta and where I send people when they mention going to Atlanta. In over a decade, the consistent quality and delicious bbq, greens, cornbread, potato salad, brisket, and oh the ribs have never faltered. The gents behind the counter are always kind to a tired traveller who loves the food. We’ve had almost everything on the menu over the years. The chopped brisket sandwich is good good my kids will order multiple meals if possible.Love this place.Long time supporter of local team sports and community events.Vegetarian options: Very limited. Cornbread, Mac n cheese, dessertsDietary restrictions: Paleo and pescatarian friendlyParking: Tons it’s in the back of a shopping center.Wheelchair accessibility: Limited“
“Looks aren't everything, don't judge a book by its cover, etc... All that applies here. The food is great! And you can't go wrong with the hot lemon pepper boneless wings/tenders whatever you want to call it, with vegetable fried rice! Been eating here since 2007 best wing spot in ATL.“
“My husband and I stopped in for lunch today. We had delicious hamburgers and Caesar salads. I also had a very good peach tea. I’m not a real hamburger person, but I like one every once in a while and this one was excellent. The I could only eat half of it, but the other half didn’t last till supper I had to go back and eat it. Thanks for a great meal!!! Amy“
“All the bbq is amazing and hands down the absolute best mac n cheese in the whole country! Coming from a bbq lover that has been to 49/50 states. Highly highly recommend! Must get the Mac n cheese as a side if you go. I normally get a pan to go home too ?“
“Last night during dine in, we had the pleasure of being served by a young lady name Haley. Let me start by saying, we come eat here about 4-5 times a month and this was by far, some of the best service we've received from Texas Roadhouse. We had a party of 7, 3 of which were children. Haley was EXTREMELY patient, pleasant and so attentive to our needs. We never had to even ask for refills. She was on point from the time we sat down to the time we walked out the door. She smiled the whole time she was serving us and every time we asked for something, she reassured it that she was glad to get it or assist. This young lady is truly an asset to this restaurant and I hope they acknowledge it. Thank you Haley for TOP NOTCH customer service. You were AMAZING!!!!“
“Stopped in to grab dinner for the family. I got the 1/2 Bros Special. 1/2 pound pulled pork, 1/2 chicken, 1/2 spare ribs, 1 pint slaw, 1 pint bbq beans, 1/2 loaf of fresh bread all for $32.99 an incredible deal. Everything fresh & delicious. Will definitely return.“
“Being gluten-free, I tried the new nacho plate with pulled pork, it was so delicious and alot of food! My 2 adult sons had the same but could not eat it all even! You could easily share! My husband had a pork sandwich and enjoyed every bite. Our waitress was attentive and kept everything filled and fun.Dietary restrictions: I shared about a new nacho chip plate with pulled pork that was a refreshing change and really delish.“
“Customer service is a priority here.A manager and our server asked "how was your experience/food" you don't get that some places you dine these days. Our server had a large party but managed that and didn't skip a beat with her other tables. The food temperature was hot just how I like it and tasted good and seasoned nicely. The restrooms were clean. My only complaint is that they need to deep clean the floor, it did have a slight odor but nothing that horrible that would have kept me or anyone in my party away from this restaurant.I understand why this restaurant is so busy they take the customer's dining experience seriously. I suggest this Longhorn steakhouse restaurant if you are looking for a good longhorn restaurant in the area.“
“Great BBQ spot in downtown Woodstock. Their menu selection is great, the meat is high quality, they have quick service, and a great location. Parking can be challenging on busy nights in Woodstock but this is a great spotParking: There is a mixture of paid surface lots and free street parking.“
“Went here today for lunch. First time here, while I was visiting my friend for the weekend and we was looking for a soul food spot to eat at! The food was delicious and hot! The staff and service was great!! The sweet tea was delicious as well!! Very reasonable prices and great location. If you are in the Marietta area and looking for a great soul food spot. Definitely check them out!! ? Definitely worth it!!“
“I ordered Eru & fufu, okra soup and Jollof rice. The eru was so good ? , I enjoyed the jollof rice & goat meat.My only complaint will be the okra that didn’t tasted fresh. They gave me a bowl of pepper & tomatoes mixed on the side to go with all my dishes. I recommend and definitely will be going back.“
“I use to eat here a lot!! But moved out of state. They have the best barbecue ever!! There sides are Amazing too!! Very friendly people!! I miss eating there , and miss them so much!! They are one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. My boyfriend at the time were good friends with them Terry. We both really think highly of this place!! Thank y’all for what y’all do!! Miss y’all!! ? “
“Great food! Friendly service! $16.99 for a 3 meat combo platter w/ 2 sides is a great value (if you choose ribs as one of your meat, you will get 2 ribs per meat choice). Decent amount of food portion. They have 4 different types of sauces, but there was no label on those sauces, and also the some of the pumps didn't work well (sort of broken) and also the area will need some frequent cleaning and sauce refill. (Minus one star on the Service for this reason). On a Friday evening dinner hours, there were ~4-5 tables of customers. Will visit again if we are in the area and craving for BBQ!“
“I've been to Korea 3 times. As well as Cambodia and Thailand. This is fantastic, this is authentic, this is how you bring Korea home. The bibimbap, the bulgoki, all the sides. Fantastic 5starsKid-friendliness: For kids that have adventurous pallets“
“My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner tonight. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming, especially our waitress Megan. We’ll definitely be requesting her next time. She was super nice and helpful; you can tell she enjoys what she does. The food was delicious. The hush puppies and sweet butter is my fav! We’re excited for our next visit. Thanks again Megan!“
“The food was quite good! I had one of the loaded potatoes with pork, cheese, coleslaw and bacon bits and it was great and very tasty. My friend and I shared a appetizer of fried pickles and they were great had a taste of pepper. The service was great. The atmosphere was special as it was in a repurposed School House so the original wood floors and beaded board wall panels were all interesting. If you're in the area it would be worth the time to stop for a meal!“
“Great selection of food, amazing staff, great service, but when ordering to go double check your food. There has been a few times they left out a few items but the manager was awesome and apologized for it. There is a good wait line so prepare accordingly.“
“Came in for first visit on Thursday March 16th around 2pm. It's a walk up service where you take a number and then your food is brought out, but there is no regular table service. The counter lady was nice and professional. The place was pretty clean. The tea was excellent. I ordered the brisket plate with potato salad, fried okra and toasted bread. The brisket plate was almost $19, and the brisket itself was great, perfectly cooked and plentiful. The fried okra was fresh, crunchy and not overly greasy, and also a large order. I did not like the potato salad because it was a mayo and sour cream based recipe and I like potato salad with mustard and mayo, so it wasn't bad for probably most people but I didn't like it (I didn't base my food review on the potato salad because most people will probably be ok with it). I also had the fried pickles as an appetizer and I really liked them. Not too greasy and the pickles were very fresh, had a nice tang to them, great overall flavor and crunch. My buddy had the turkey sandwich and really liked it (photo attached). It was actually carved turkey! As a side note they had a new cook in the back, the guy was wearing sunglasses...not a good "look" for customers to see when visiting.Prices were fair, food was good, parking is ample, location is good, service is nil because there is none, place was clean, staff was not the most professional but they didn't do anything wrong, they just didn't seem to want to be there.I may return if I'm in the area but I'm not making a special trip to come back.“
“I had a very good experince today every time i come to longhorn they get me in and out in an orderley manner ive started coming here a few months ago because im a big fan of there baked potato and some other sides never had problems with the staff and they always are helpfull and i would come here again?“
“These are literally the best pot pies I have ever had. New to the area, I ended up in Marietta; stumbling upon Paul’s Pot Pies. I bought a few, gave one to my husband and he immediately lost his mind. It was love at first bite. I’m really not supposed to be eating them, but I do sneak one in every now and then. Shepherd’s pie is my favorite, the next is seafood chowder. If you are looking for hand held comfort food or you want share with others; this is the best way to say “hey I like you, I want your belly to feel like mine” this is the way to do it. I don’t know when I’ll sneak to Paul’s again; but I know I will at some point. Everyone doesn’t have to sneak, so for those that don’t, RUN and get yourself one!!! The staff is always kind and pleasant, I’ve been to both locations. I’ve been happy with both.“
