“The brisket (I ordered Lean) was amazing. I'm only sorry I could only eat half of their serving. I am not a fan of mustard in the potato salad but it was good enough that I ate half of that too. And the cole slaw was great. The homemade pickles are really good. The leftovers came home with me. The negative is unfortunately major. The sweet sauce was far too sugary, bad enough that I didn't even try the other sauces because I was done. I bought the Triple chocolate cake because I love chocolate and cake. This was not chocolate or cake. It was dry, chocolate tasting (sort of) cardboard with a very wet watery chocolate (sort of) topping that was neither frosting or gnache with a few tiny chips mixed in. I took a second bite just in case I was being unfair. I wasn't. Since I went there for the barbecue, I gave 4 stars for the food and 5 for the service because despite the sauce it really was good brisket and decentservice for a fast food place & really clean. Next time I'll try a small amount of different sauces and the banana pudding because there will definitely be a next time.“

“Did the Brunch buffet today. Everything I sampled was good to excellent. Definitely no complaints. All the staff were helpful, courteous, and smiling. JD even played a pinball game with my 2 grandsons. My only complaint, if you want to call it that,was being charged for ice tea. Trust me, that won't stop us from going again. EXCELLENT!!“

“I take my client out to eat twice a month and we have went to different restaurants in Acworth and she wanted some barbecue so a neighbor of mines had told me that they had a good barbecue pork sandwich but she didn't like the barbecue pulled pork,pork in the ribs was too fatty and the macaroni cheese was dry and didn't have no taste to it, only thing that was good was the fried okra and the roll ,and the Sprite at the machine it was nasty. she didn't like the coleslaw cuz it had pieces of the core all in it, so she took about four bites out of her pulled pork in a olive baked beans sell for a teaspoon of it but she said she didn't want to come back we should have asked for a refund but she said it was okay she just won't come back“

“I had Uncle C's for the first time this past weekend. The owners, a mother and son, were extremely nice and helpful. They operate out of their food truck amd the food they are putting out is amazing! We had the dark and white jerk bbq, bbq ribs, pulled pork, mac & cheese, and rice & beans. Everything was well-seasoned and tasty. The chicken and ribs were cooked to perfection and the sauce was on point. We will definitely be visiting again...soon!“

“Last week stopped by Big Shanty Smokehouse in Kennesaw, Georgia. I’ve been going here for years and always has been one of my favorite places in Georgia. Paul Holden of Willingham's World Champion BBQ recently took over as the new owner in August and excited to see what he continues to bring. He’s top notch pitmaster in the competition world but also has been in the restaurant business as well. I got the brisket which was amazing and also some of their signature Turkey ribs (Friday Special) and of course some Brunswick stew and Mac & Cheese. Everything was very good and will be back soon. “Stopped in for a quick bite add the brisket sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was good it had a bit of crust on the top and the cheese was well melted throughout and a good quantity of cheese. The brisket was good it had a real tender taste it had a smoky flavor I do like it a little crustier on the top but it was good.“

Yesterday we were already stressing a little at work when we realized we had about 20 more guests than expected, coming to a very special, upper management, retirement luncheon. We left immediately and ran into Scott’s a few mins early for our pickup, in hopes that we could buy extra food to have enough. We told them where we were from and that we were there to pick up our order but needed to add to it if it all possible. They started looking at each other and things quickly felt a little uncomfortable, and sheer panic set in for us. We told them we had been talking to Julie and they said, “we don’t have a Juile. You must have ordered from the Scott’s in South Ga!” Dear Lord did the panic set in then!!! I said we have 70 people coming for a retirement luncheon in about 45 mins! Can you please help us??!! They asked what we needed, which included six butts with slaw, potato salad and beans and more tea. They quickly went to work and had us out of there in about 20 mins. THEY SAVED US AND WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL!!! And, as always, their food was amazing!! Please go support this business!! “Really disappointing. We used to go here when it was owned by Sam and Dave. That was a long time ago. Recent visits convinced us not to go any more. Both pork and beef dishes were primarily fat, and the potato salad was dry with weird texture around the edges. And don't get me started on the lack of cleanliness. Sitting at a booth, the wooden walls were filthy--really disgusting. No, I don't own or work at or know anyone who has a competing bbq place. Just can no longer recommend this one.“

“Update. Picked up 3 lunch orders today. Chicken breast sandwich was perfectly cooked and huge. Not a Sloppy Joe Sandwich was delicious and a pork and pulled chicken plate was very good. The deserts won today. The Chocolate Cake was amazing and delicious. Then there was the Cherry Cobbler. WOW! That had to be the best cobbler I have ever eaten. Bits of sugary dough almost like candy and delicious dark cherries. I would order it again any time. Both deserts were larger than expected. The servings accurately reflected the pictures. We don't usually order desert but today's was outstanding!

Today I ordered the Burnt Ends Pork Belly. It was delicious. Well cooked on the outside and tender on the inside. The glaze was a nice addition. Green beans and corn pudding were outstanding. One other diner enjoyed the pulled pork and turkey combo with the above sides.

Ordered online today. Ready for pickup on time. The pork was delicious with the right amount of smoke. It was tender and juicy with some great blackened skin. Corn pudding is very good along with the potato salad and hush puppies. I will be back.“

“It's a food truck. It's hard to find good fried fish in Cobb. I ordered the fried whiting with sides of collards and rice n beans. The fish was fried and seasoned perfectly, not salty at all. The rice and beans were the best I ever had. I wonder if they sell a pint size of the rice and beans. The collards were good, too. I loved the food, a good value for the money. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in that part of town.“

“I love Rodney’s, the grilled catfish is so yummy. I was so sad when I hurd that they had closed the doors, I was shocked because the people of New Hope loved Rodney’s. My family had been there too many times too count, order their banana pudding for birthday’s and holidays. I had ordered food for the East Paulding football coaches and food for the team. I have never had nothing bad too eat at Rodney’s, so if you haven’t ever been go. The breakfast is awesome, and then lunch after church or Friday nights. “Love dining at Longhorn on Dallas Hwy in Marietta. Food is always perfectly cooked and the atmosphere is great. Always meet new people to talk to at the bar. Christina is outstanding and always treats everyone like family. If we are there for drinks or to eat, we always sit at the bar because we know the service will be great.“

“I placed an online order for my husband yesterday, and when he picked it up and brought it home, he immediately noticed that honey mustard had spilled all over his chicken tenders. He was pretty upset because he doesn’t like any sauce on his chicken tenders.

I called this LongHorn location about 15 minutes before closing and was connected with the manager, Ms. Amber. I explained what happened, and she was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. She immediately made it a priority to have my husband’s chicken tenders and fries remade without any hassle. On top of that, she gave him a complimentary dessert card for the inconvenience.

Ms. Amber’s customer service is truly 10/10! She was attentive, professional, compassionate, and resolved the issue quickly. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about making things right, especially so close to closing time.

Nice place to take the family and I celebrate my birthday at one of thier establishments each and every year for the last 10+ years and don't plan on making any changes any time soon.
