Really disappointing. We used to go here when it was owned by Sam and Dave. That was a long time ago. Recent visits convinced us not to go any more. Both pork and beef dishes were primarily fat, and the potato salad was dry with weird texture around the edges. And don't get me started on the lack of cleanliness. Sitting at a booth, the wooden walls were filthy--really disgusting. No, I don't own or work at or know anyone who has a competing bbq place. Just can no longer recommend...read full review

Had lunch and as usual Dave Poe's does not disappoint! Best pulled pork with great bark on the meat. Being from NC this is great BBQ better than Lexington BBQ!
