All the bbq is amazing and hands down the absolute best mac n cheese in the whole country! Coming from a bbq lover that has been to 49/50 states. Highly highly recommend! Must get the Mac n cheese as a side if you go. I normally get a pan to go home too ?

I've wanted to try this place for a while, but was pretty disappointed. Pulled pork was good, but the brisket had no discernable smoke, was a bit dry, and closer to pot roast than any brisket I've had before. The standard BBQ sauce I was given was horrible- felt like it was trying to straddle the line between multiple styles without doing any of them well. Runny, not sweet, not vinegary, touch of pepper, just bland. Mustard sauce was better, though still only average, but I'd recommend it over the standard. Lots of weird Facebook grandpa political signs on the wall- I came for the food, not the ambiance, but still a strange decorative choice.Hoping I caught them on a bad day (random Saturday afternoon) and this isn't a long-term representation of their food quality since they're so well respected around these parts, but there are so many good BBQ restaurants these days that it's hard to see going back anytime soon.

We wanted to like this place so much, but just didn't. The first time we came they closed early because they ran out of meat. The second time we came at 5:00. They were out of okra, brisket and baked potatoes. We ordered pulled pork and some other sides. Everything was ok. Nothing but the Mac and cheese was great. The pork was cold and a little fatty. Not worth the effort and risk to come back.

So I was going to order some food and the way I felt treated before I could even order I just walked out because of the service!!!!!!!! One of the lady’s walked away after serving one of the customers’ and then when it was my turn the cashier did not want to greet me and just started changing the receipt tape without even saying “please can you give me one minute.” Both female workers were very rude and need to get some training on how to treat customers!!!!!!!!!!

Just awful. I ordered the baby back ribs and they were fatty, the sauce was nasty -- like everything was cooked several days ago. The onion rings were greasy. I threw the whole order in the trash. Not edible.

Good tasting BBQ with excellent sides. If you own a restaurant, you have to put a good product on the table and Dave Poe and his team does just that.

Finally I've found me a barbecue place in Cobb county. The ribs and chicken were out of this world delicious and the sides were just as banging. I've been trying different places and this one beats them all. 5 stars meal all the way. ???

Stopped by for lunch. Had a photo of my plate that i somehow lost in the save process. Nice spot with kind service. You can see they support the Dawgs and the Tide. I had the brisket plate with sides of mac n cheese and coleslaw. The mac n cheese was the star. Large penne style noodles in a real good smooth and flavorful cheese sauce. The coleslaw was pretty solid with a good balance of sweet and acid. The brisket was ok. The brisket was sliced but had a little too much fat throughout and it was lukewarm. It is a popular spot and we arrived just prior to the lunch rush.

i was so excited to come to dave poes because its listed as top #10 BBQ in atlanta. i was so disappointed with my experience. we came on a saturday for early lunch right at noon. there was no line luckily the place was kinda empty. we placed an order for 1/2 lb brisket, 1/2 rack of baby back ribs, pint of collard greens, & pint of baked beans. it took about 15ish minutes to get our order which we werent expecting since most bbq places already have everything ready. the only decent item was the baked beans which isnt saying much. they were fine. the collard greens tasted just like plain soggy collard greens 0 flavor. the brisket was pretty bad. didnt have flavor either and was dry. the worst part was the ribs...none of us could stomach them they had such a weird bad taste. something wasnt right.

My Dad picked up some Mac n cheese this weekend and brought it to our family event. It was the very best Mac n cheese I've ever tasted. I will not come to Georgia again without picking up some!!

They forgot my girlfriend's sides and ignored my request for burnt fries. The brisket was dry and the fries were soggy. We will not be going back.
