What a FUN place to grab some yummy catfish tacos! They made them special for me with an extra yummy sauce! The hush puppies were SO GOOD! Service was great! Friendly staff. Disinfectant was sprayed on the tables and thoroughly wiped down after each guest left. And a really cool atmosphere being on the lake. Super pretty. A bit of a hidden gem. The wife and I visited for lunch on a Sunday. No wait, we end up sitting out on the back deck with a view of the lake. The food was delicious. The Salmon bowl was well put together. My wife had the bacon burger with all the toppings and it came out great. The only thing I didn't like was there's an upcharge for swapping home made chips (thinly sliced potatoes) for crinkle fries (still potatoes) service was very prompt and drinks were good. JDs on the lake is all about location, location, location.The food is okay, but there's better options, including the other JDs up the road, in the area that will provide a better meal.But if you're looking for a place to hang out on the lake and grab a couple of drinks while you enjoy the scenery, then this is the place to check out.
