Miss the shrimp and grits ?

Just went there this evening. Got the Boss Hog Burger, which had pork BBQ on top of a cheese burger. Absolutely the worst burger I've ever had. Dry tastless Pork BBQ and an over cooked burger. No Sauce at all. $18 for a burger was the highest price I ever paid for a burger. Asked the bartender for some ketchup because there was none out anywhere. She got flip and mean when we asked her. They also add 3.5% to every item for "credit cards and bank cards". They put a cash price at the bottom, but it's difficult to figure a tip and the suggested is with all the credit card fees added. The view of the lake was great.

The bartender working tonight looked past my friend and I when we were waiting to order with her and helped people that had come up behind us like we were not there first. She even told another girl who had come behind the bar to get service bar in the middle of me telling her what I wanted. Ive never been treated that way from any of the employees here before and have always had a good experience here. Kinda sad since I love coming here.

What a FUN place to grab some yummy catfish tacos! They made them special for me with an extra yummy sauce! The hush puppies were SO GOOD! Service was great! Friendly staff. Disinfectant was sprayed on the tables and thoroughly wiped down after each guest left. And a really cool atmosphere being on the lake. Super pretty. Check out the panorama picture off the back porch. The is very limited handicap parking, but they have a very nice wheelchair ramp. We’ll be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Long wheelchair ramp in very good condition.

As a meat-only eater, this is the best restaurant meal that I have had to-date. The beef-sausage combined grind plus shredded pork and bacon .. oh my.. I'll be back.

A bit of a hidden gem. The wife and I visited for lunch on a Sunday. No wait, we end up sitting out on the back deck with a view of the lake. The food was delicious. The Salmon bowl was well put together. My wife had the bacon burger with all the toppings and it came out great. The only thing I didn't like was there's an upcharge for swapping home made chips (thinly sliced potatoes) for crinkle fries (still potatoes) service was very prompt and drinks were good. Overall experience was great.

JDs on the lake is all about location, location, location. The food is okay, but there's better options, including the other JDs up the road, in the area that will provide a better meal. But if you're looking for a place to hang out on the lake and grab a couple of drinks while you enjoy the scenery, then this is the place to check out. They have plenty of patio and outdoor seating, but they also have seats with views on the inside. This building/location was made famous as "The Blue Cat Lodge" on the tv show Ozark, so there are cool tidbits to see if you're a fan of the show, as well.

Love the food and the ambiance. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but the food is worth it. The cocktails are a bit as well. You will pay a nice penny to dine there so be prepared
