“First time eating here, was so happy we did. Excellent variety of food, fantastic customer service and delicious food. I had BBQ best greens I ever had, Moist pork creamy coleslaw, husband had Thai food and was just as impressed. We highly recommend this restaurant if you like flavorful food with big portions. We both had to get takeout containers it was a large portion so excited to get to eat it again for dinner. Excellent restaurant!!!“

“Just want to give a shout out and a great big THANK YOU to Scott's Walk-Up Bar-B-Que in Cartersville. Yesterday we were already stressing a little at work when we realized we had about 20 more guests than expected, coming to a very special, upper management, retirement luncheon. We left immediately and ran into Scott’s a few mins early for our pickup, in hopes that we could buy extra food to have enough. We told them where we were from and that we were there to pick up our order but needed to add to it if it all possible. They started looking at each other and things quickly felt a little uncomfortable, and sheer panic set in for us. We told them we had been talking to Julie and they said, “we don’t have a Juile. You must have ordered from the Scott’s in South Ga!” Dear Lord did the panic set in then!!! I said we have 70 people coming for a retirement luncheon in about 45 mins! Can you please help us??!! They asked what we needed, which included six butts with slaw, potato salad and beans and more tea. They quickly went to work and had us out of there in about 20 mins. THEY SAVED US AND WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL!!! And, as always, their food was amazing!! Please go support this business!! They are in Cartersville on Tennessee St. And keep them in mind if you are having an event in the area and are looking for great BBQ. They will take care of you! “We visited the Cartersville location for a family members birthday. My boyfriend ordered his steak cooked medium well. When it arrived at the table it was well done. He was not happy but did not return it or say anything to our server. I ordered the Chicken and Strawberry salad. When it arrived, there was no Chicken on it. I made my server aware of the fact and she got me some Chicken. A family member ordered Chicken Fingers/Nuggets. She said there was alot of breading on them. It was rather cool in there and I am not one who normally gets cold.“

“I take my client out to eat twice a month and we have went to different restaurants in Acworth and she wanted some barbecue so a neighbor of mines had told me that they had a good barbecue pork sandwich but she didn't like the barbecue pulled pork,pork in the ribs was too fatty and the macaroni cheese was dry and didn't have no taste to it, only thing that was good was the fried okra and the roll ,and the Sprite at the machine it was nasty. she didn't like the coleslaw cuz it had pieces of the core all in it, so she took about four bites out of her pulled pork in a olive baked beans sell for a teaspoon of it but she said she didn't want to come back we should have asked for a refund but she said it was okay she just won't come back“

“Did the Brunch buffet today. Everything I sampled was good to excellent. Definitely no complaints. All the staff were helpful, courteous, and smiling. JD even played a pinball game with my 2 grandsons. My only complaint, if you want to call it that,was being charged for ice tea. Trust me, that won't stop us from going again. EXCELLENT!!“

“Food was good. My steak 🥩 was more on rare side than medium rare. They had to cook it just a bit more. My companion's steaks were a bit overcooked. Over all I was satisfied with flavor. I do have one suggestion. Restaurant needs to be cleaned all around their decor and lamps. There was a layer of dust and oil buildup on back side. I usually don't sit that close to the wall but this time I had my 26 month old on that side getting into things so I had good look lol. I wild be back again. Overall good experience.“
