“I've been working my way through the local donut spots. 5 stars for the best combination of taste and quality along with flavor options and variety.

Dunkin is a 1 star, maybe 2 if they're fresh. Grocery store is a 3. KK is a 4, too much greasy sugary, not enough dough. Local spots usually nail it.

“I got a Matcha (vanilla fig), cinnamon roll, and the Dubai chocolate! The best matcha I’ve ever had, the cinnamon roll was amazing, and I love the chocolate bar. The area was quite, clean and relaxing. The worker was amazing and put everything in a bag for me. It was pricey due to the amount of stuff I got, but the quality was worth the price I think. I will definitely be coming back!“

“Last week stopped by Big Shanty Smokehouse in Kennesaw, Georgia. I’ve been going here for years and always has been one of my favorite places in Georgia. Paul Holden of Willingham's World Champion BBQ recently took over as the new owner in August and excited to see what he continues to bring. He’s top notch pitmaster in the competition world but also has been in the restaurant business as well. I got the brisket which was amazing and also some of their signature Turkey ribs (Friday Special) and of course some Brunswick stew and Mac & Cheese. Everything was very good and will be back soon. Currently they are open Wed-Thursday 11am-2pm & Friday-Saturday 11am-7pm. (So stop by and see them.) “The take-away bottles are great. The keep most of the staples in bourbon, gin, rum and vodka. But they also distill niche liquors in small batches.

The distillery really shines in their cocktails. Mark uses nothing but fresh ingredients, does a great job of rotating seasonal drinks in, and works hard to offer something unique in a fairly bland marketplace.

Worth the visit for some bottles, but stay for a cocktail or three.“

“Stopped by with my family ordered 2 classic chicken sandwiches rosemary fries and Cajun fries. We also had ice tea. Love the food the chicken was very bland but well fried. Eye will try some different sauces next time . Jasmin and Eye loved the fries and the ice tea. I’m taking my wife the next time I go.“

“We have been many times and it is always perfect. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating, and always go above and beyond good hospitality. The food is authentic and made with care, and the menu has something for everyone. We recently went to celebrate a birthday, and everyone made it so special! Hamsa and the rest of the staff were wonderful! We drive an hour and a half to eat there and it’s worth it!“

“About a month ago, my wife and I visited VAMOS PAL CAFETAL for the second time. The place looks decent, and at the beginning the waitress was attentive and polite. My wife ordered a “picada,” which she did not enjoy at all. It was missing several items that are normally part of a traditional Colombian picada. We are both Colombian, so we know exactly what this dish should include. In my case, I ordered a breaded pork cutlet (“chuleta a la milanesa”). As soon as I cut the first piece and took a bite, I immediately noticed a horrible taste, as if the meat was spoiled or no longer fresh. It was so bad that I almost felt sick. I called the waitress right away, explained the situation, and expressed my complete dissatisfaction. She took the plate away, and we decided to ask for the check. What was truly disappointing is that no one ever came to our table to apologize — not the manager, not the cook, no one. It was as if nothing had happened. We paid and left, and we made the decision not to return. Unfortunately, based on this experience and the lack of basic customer service, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Be cautious and consider other options.“

“great food, mostly good service, the wait could be a little better but my worst concern is the men’s bathroom, holy you cannot take a full breath in there without gagging, it smells like something died in there and it’s been like that since the it opened cuz i’ve been there probably like 5-6 times and it’s always smelled like that“

“I came in this past Saturday after a 3-4 month hiatus after Bills season. The last time I was here this place was a ghost town. There were maybe 2 other people in the restaurant and the vibe was off. My kids are summer break now so we thought let’s try Anchor Bar again and to my surprise, the place was packed. You could barely find any parking. I had to snap a picture because I haven’t seen it like this except for Bills season. As soon as we walked in we were greeted right away by a nice gentleman at the front door which we later learned was the General Manager. He sat us by 4 TVs and put on Cartoon Network for my kids my wife and I got to watch college baseball which was very kind of him to do. I server was a young lady who was on top of it. The restraint was packed but our drinks were always filled and our food came out in 20 minutes which is not long, seeing how busy they were. They’ve updated their alcohol menu and have awesome drink specials throughout the week. I don’t know if it’s new ownership or management but I was pleasantly surprised. Can’t wait for Bills season. GO BILLS!“

“Got the bruschetta, wedge salad, sweet and spicy peach flatbread pizza and children’s chicken and fries. The pizza was great, salad oddly small, and chicken was fine. I wouldn’t have give. Five stars if the bruschetta wasn’t so insanely salty a spicy. Bruschetta is not supposed to be spicy or salty…“
