“My wife and I and our Boy Scout troop, had the pleasure of meeting the Carrs when they came to support our troop at a pancake fundraiser breakfast. They shared with us their restaurant business and we decided after the breakfast was over, We went to reciprocate. And boy were we glad we did. That was hands-down The best barbecue I’ve ever had in my entire life. Now let’s talk about the sides. I think my wife bought one of every side they had available. And 2 cups of Brunswick stew. All of those items were the best I’ve ever had. I will be back and I recommend you give it a try too.“

“This my first time with my hubby! The food was amazing! The ribs and rib tips were cooked just right! The collards, yams, and baked beans were seasoned and great! The mac n cheese was good but it was slightly under seasoned! I will be back and highly recommend this place! The beautiful lady at the front was friendly! 5/5!“

“I just love the energy from the staff. The food is really good. My FAVORITES are the Brunswick Stew, collard greens, and that dang corn muffin. The ribs/ rib tips are good, too. I make it my business to go out of my way to patronize this establishment.

“Same consistency every time! I live 45 mins from the shop but every time I have to come near, I take the extra time to stop and get their coconut tea with coffee jelly! I never had a bad experience, they are so nice and I with they were closer home. I buy extra to take home ❤️✨“

“Despite all the soul food restaurants I've eaten at, I keep returning to this one. The food is consistent and it's good. Its also consistently higher each time we go 😩, but I guess that comes with everything else. We like Proteins: the chicken wings(fried and smoked/bbq) , fried shrimp, fried fish, and the veggies/sides: Mac and cheese, collards, corn, cornbread dressing.. and NOT the sweet potatoes. When I tell you the taste just like pie filling. And it's just too much, too sweet, not depth but sugary pie filling. The lemonade is good too! They can be slow, especially if it's busy and you're getting food that's cooked fresh.“

“Ok, so I love rib tips & really only get them from 2 places in Metro Atlanta.. but I did pull up & try the Rib Tips at Screen House.. & they were EXCELLENT! When I walked in, it very clean, the young lady behind the register greeted me right away & was very professional. I'm honestly not big on doing reviews.. but I was so impressed & the Rib Tips were so good.. I had to jump on here & say something.. If you're reading this, you should really go check them out. “Sometimes the most unassuming places or the ones you drive by all the time and never stop at has some of the best food. That was definitely the case at this spot. I found them doing research for BBQ in the area. All the good reviews about the food and service are telling the truth.

Food: Excellent. I got a Whole Chicken, Half-Slab of Ribs, Large Collards and Potato Salad, Corn Muffins and Two Slices of Sweet Potato Pie. And added on a large sauce. (Didnt need to, cause they give enough) The meats were smoked perfectly and the ribs and chicken were both tender and good. The greens for once were not overcooked like alot of folks like them. But i prefer the way Juicy Ribs do theirs. There's flavorful, but still have a bite and they didnt cook all the nutrients out.
The potato salad was authentically Southern like the rest of the food, but I personally like mine a lil less sweet, but then my palate leans more towards salty so.....The pie was for my mom.....All I know is i saw no remnats of it. I think she smashed both slices. Didnt even offer me a taste.....😄
I give the food a 15 out of 10! Oh......the sauce is great. If you like yours a lil more salty or acidic, add a lil white vinegar and it'll be perfect.

Prices: Fair. Ive seen people complain bout the prices in reviews and Im thinking 🤔🤔🤔 You're gonna spend right around $20 for some overprocessed junk from McDonalds or Burger King on any giving day. So $16 for a real Southern BBQ meal is not expensive. Not to mention you dont have to none of the work that goes into it, which is alot.

Service: Excellent. Sweet Southern Lady at the window. I watched her interact with the regulars and given her welcoming attitude and tell-tale swirl of bbq smoke swirling through conversations, I see why the customers were flowing through non-stop.

“What are you looking for in BBQ? This spot was it for me. A little shack with the best smoked meats I've had in some time. The BBQ sauce hit perfectly with the seasoning used on the chicken, ribs and chopped pork. The sides complimented the meats just right. “Did a curbside order tonight and meal was ready on time. I paid extra for a loaded potato but when I got bone there were no toppings in my bag, no bread or cinnamon butter and no utensils. I understand it is the Holidays but it doesn't take but a couple of minutes to double check orders. The other Texas Roadhouse we have tried have been great. I guess here in McDonough we will have to keep using Long Horns.“

“When I want yeast rolls and a steak- Logans it is.... the loaded sweet potato is good but it came out burned - this time the flavor was unharmed but in past it had been way over cooked.... steak was cooked perfect!! Rolls were hot and fresh!!! So overall it was a 7/10 visit....“
