We were passing through from Michigan to Florida. This is southern bbq at its best. You will not regret eating here 👍
Hey this is cool laid back place, owners are cool as well. Food was good so I couldn’t complain. Black owned so I encouraged everyone to come check’em out.
The waitress Bree was was absolutely amazing. Muly mom has dementia and very difficult to please. But, through it all Bree was very helpful, consistent and her attitude was very pleasant the entire time. She never wavered in her service. She is commended for her professionalism.

Beyond BBQ is a restaurant that has been open for only 4 months. It is a newly opened, locally owned establishment. The atmosphere is amazing and the restaurant is beautiful. The decor and layout was done well. They took great pride in the furniture, fixtures, greenery (there is a grass wall) and flat screens all around. The food is amazing, beyond delicious. The chicken dinner, grilled salmon, pork ribs, beef rib, fried shrimp, burger, and ribeye are all delicious. The chicken was delicious and didn't need much BBQ sauce. Both the pork and beef ribs were extremely tender and seasoned to perfection. The shrimp was jumbo and fried perfectly. Each plate comes with two sides. The corn muffins were brought out to start and were warm, buttery and flavorful. The collards had bits of smoked turkey in it. The macaroni wasn't typical but tasted good. The yams, Mac and cheese, greens, mashed potatoes and yams were tasty and just the right portion. The service was excellent. The staff was helpful, consistent and pleasant. They are commended for their professionalism. Overall, great place to dine in, serve lunch and they're open until 11 PM nightly. The prices may be a little higher for the area but the food is tasty and ambiance is worth it.
