“Sometimes the most unassuming places or the ones you drive by all the time and never stop at has some of the best food. That was definitely the case at this spot. I found them doing research for BBQ in the area. All the good reviews about the food and service are telling the truth.
Food: Excellent. I got a Whole Chicken, Half-Slab of Ribs, Large Collards and Potato Salad, Corn Muffins and Two Slices of Sweet Potato Pie. And added on a large sauce. (Didnt need to, cause they give enough) The meats were smoked perfectly and the ribs and chicken were both tender and good. The greens for once were not overcooked like alot of folks like them. But i prefer the way Juicy Ribs do theirs. There's flavorful, but still have a bite and they didnt cook all the nutrients out.
The potato salad was authentically Southern like the rest of the food, but I personally like mine a lil less sweet, but then my palate leans more towards salty so.....The pie was for my mom.....All I know is i saw no remnats of it. I think she smashed both slices. Didnt even offer me a taste.....😄
I give the food a 15 out of 10! Oh......the sauce is great. If you like yours a lil more salty or acidic, add a lil white vinegar and it'll be perfect.
Prices: Fair. Ive seen people complain bout the prices in reviews and Im thinking 🤔🤔🤔 You're gonna spend right around $20 for some overprocessed junk from McDonalds or Burger King on any giving day. So $16 for a real Southern BBQ meal is not expensive. Not to mention you dont have to none of the work that goes into it, which is alot.
Service: Excellent. Sweet Southern Lady at the window. I watched her interact with the regulars and given her welcoming attitude and tell-tale swirl of bbq smoke swirling through conversations, I see why the customers were flowing through non-stop.

“Ordered two sausage biscuits, one plain,one with mustard. Menu price board stated $1.95 for sausage and biscuit. I was charged eight dollars and some change.mind you that I didn’t get anything else. Though they were good. But not no $4.00 each good.. To rich for me. Need to changed menu, price board. misleading.

“All Of Greedyman's Food Is Excellent. Customer Service Gets Over 5 Stars. But That Fish Philly Sandwich Is Awesome. It's a stroke of genius. No other fish sandwich compares. It's more than delicious. Try It as Well as all of his food. You will be happy and prosperous.“

“I visited today with my wife and was pleasantly surprised. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated. The food was great but the service was what really made our visit superb. “Listen I meant to take a picture but my plate gone already. Ribs were off the bone, greens and yams were so good. First time going and I'm ready to go back . “Scrumptious meal!!! I met a Facebook trucker and we hooked up for some love making. He fed my family for over 400.00 my dad ordered the most expensive meal to test him. He didn’t mind and paid it. It was fantastic!!! I’m a CNA now and can afford the meals on my own. I’ll be back!!! Lost my phone that night and he gave me 1000.00 for a new one. And some shopping money and money for his pills. It was a fantastic night of fun!! Unforgettable!!!“

“Same consistency every time! I live 45 mins from the shop but every time I have to come near, I take the extra time to stop and get their coconut tea with coffee jelly! I never had a bad experience, they are so nice and I with they were closer home. I buy extra to take home ❤️✨“

“Did a curbside order tonight and meal was ready on time. I paid extra for a loaded potato but when I got bone there were no toppings in my bag, no bread or cinnamon butter and no utensils. I understand it is the Holidays but it doesn't take but a couple of minutes to double check orders. The other Texas Roadhouse we have tried have been great. I guess here in McDonough we will have to keep using Long Horns.“

“Just when you think customer service no longer exist, you find this place. Lisa C (as the receipt says) was amazing, but not just her everyone we encountered here. The food was good, me and my wife was able to split the full rack of ribs and one bite in we were full. The brownie dessert was huge the whole family ate on it. My God this place felt like you were in the sweet town of Chattanooga. This was my first time and I promise won’t be the last. I love this place.“

“Great experience! The staff were fabulous. The service was paced as expected with the crowd. The food was delicious. Flo's Filet, baked potato and salad was perfect. The bread is a favorite. Our server Chris was fantastic, he is top notch. My favorite thing of the night was the Chocolate Stampede Cake is to die for. Look forward for the next trip.“
