“Sometimes the most unassuming places or the ones you drive by all the time and never stop at has some of the best food. That was definitely the case at this spot. I found them doing research for BBQ in the area. All the good reviews about the food and service are telling the truth.

Food: Excellent. I got a Whole Chicken, Half-Slab of Ribs, Large Collards and Potato Salad, Corn Muffins and Two Slices of Sweet Potato Pie. And added on a large sauce. (Didnt need to, cause they give enough) The meats were smoked perfectly and the ribs and chicken were both tender and good. The greens for once were not overcooked like alot of folks like them. But i prefer the way Juicy Ribs do theirs. There's flavorful, but still have a bite and they didnt cook all the nutrients out.
The potato salad was authentically Southern like the rest of the food, but I personally like mine a lil less sweet, but then my palate leans more towards salty so.....The pie was for my mom.....All I know is i saw no remnats of it. I think she smashed both slices. Didnt even offer me a taste.....😄
I give the food a 15 out of 10! Oh......the sauce is great. If you like yours a lil more salty or acidic, add a lil white vinegar and it'll be perfect.

Prices: Fair. Ive seen people complain bout the prices in reviews and Im thinking 🤔🤔🤔 You're gonna spend right around $20 for some overprocessed junk from McDonalds or Burger King on any giving day. So $16 for a real Southern BBQ meal is not expensive. Not to mention you dont have to none of the work that goes into it, which is alot.

Service: Excellent. Sweet Southern Lady at the window. I watched her interact with the regulars and given her welcoming attitude and tell-tale swirl of bbq smoke swirling through conversations, I see why the customers were flowing through non-stop.

“My family stopped here for a bite to eat before we went to an event at the racetrack and it was a good experience! This is place is a nice little whole in the wall and we were not disappointed! The chef and I assume owner was very nice to us as it was our first time eating here! He even offered my little nephew a free cupcake!
I ordered a brisket sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese! The brisket was nice and tender and the sauce that came on it was delicious! The Mac and cheese tasted great as well!
If I’m ever back in the area I definitely want to stop by and try something else! I highly recommend checking this place out!“

“Ordered two sausage biscuits, one plain,one with mustard. Menu price board stated $1.95 for sausage and biscuit. I was charged eight dollars and some change.mind you that I didn’t get anything else. Though they were good. But not no $4.00 each good.. To rich for me. Need to changed menu, price board. misleading.

“They know how to toss fries in sauce.
Costs about 1 and a half dollars extra to request for them to toss the fries, but is worth it if you love your fries tossed due to the cheaper prices(it's below 10 dollars, but tossing fires raises the price) compared to elsewhere to get a 6 piece wings combo.
(Btw tossed fries are fries coated in sauce)
Also costs extra to get extra blue cheese, but that's not an issue.
They don't have tea, but they have a menu variety and an atmosphere, so I would recommend this place to the rest of my family members.
The main reason why I put 10-20 dollars as the cost is that the average and anything but the 6 wing combo by itself costs more than 10 dollars but mostly stays below 20.“

“I stopped by for a rib sandwich, but they were out of ribs. I ended up getting the rib tips, fries, and a tropical punch instead, and I'm glad I did. Everything was delicious. The rib tips were flavorful, the fries were great, and the tropical punch was the perfect addition to the meal. I'll definitely be back again.“

“Service makes or breaks an experience at a restaurant, yes food and cleanliness ultimately seals the visit however if it’s great service with a smile it sets the mood. There were three of us in our party that ate lunch together after church today and Courtney was our server. She unlike many waitresses and waiters in this day and time deserved that recognition of being called a server, she was very attentive, helpful, joyful etc… she has by far been one of the best waitresses/ servers that I have ever had. “Did a curbside order tonight and meal was ready on time. I paid extra for a loaded potato but when I got bone there were no toppings in my bag, no bread or cinnamon butter and no utensils. I understand it is the Holidays but it doesn't take but a couple of minutes to double check orders. The other Texas Roadhouse we have tried have been great. I guess here in McDonough we will have to keep using Long Horns.“
