“I’ve heard of this place from many people. I have the luxury of working in Jackson for a couple days, and I had to try them. The place doesn’t look like much, but all the flavors are behind the door. Good food, good atmosphere, and great owners. The only thing that beats the food are the prices. If I get the luxury of coming back to Jackson Georgia, I’ll be eating here again.“

“Mannnn whoever cooked this food over knows EXACTLY what they’re doing on that smoker. I was walking by and I couldn’t help but stop and try the food. Some of the BEST food I’ve tasted in a while. Anytime I get loads in McDonough I’ll have to grab a few plates from this place here. It’s a hidden gem“

“We drove 9hrs from indiana for 5 key lime cakes. The ribs brisket and wings were amazing and loved the bbq sauce.we will be back in a few months for another weekend date night. Great bunch of people!“

“We tried Shorty's yesterday. It was a great experience we met John his lovey wife and his father. The are really sweet, friendly folks. Their food potatoe salad, bbq, Mac and cheese, slaw, peach cobbler and them drinks peach tea, strawberry lemonade was some of the best ever. We will definitely go back“
