“I love whole catfish but rarely can find it in restaurants these days. My meal was fantastic! At first I thought the hush puppies looked overcooked BUT I was terribly wrong. They were just as perfect as the catfish. I also bought lemon pepper wings for a late night snack tonight or lunch tomorrow. They look yummy and the seasoning taste delicious. I had great service. The lady and her son working there were a pleasure. I will definitely be ordering there a lot more often. This was my first experience and it was a rainy evening. I am one happy and full lady.“

“This place is over 100 years old and you can see the history on the walls. Open seating, one counter for service, and one huge pit in the middle of the place. There is not a huge selection but when something is so good you don't need options! Chopped meat, vinegar-based sauce, cole slaw, and Brunswick stew...that's it and that's all you need!!“

“My Family and I stopped stop by out of curiosity, and man I was not disappointed. The flavored lemonade was on point and the food was delicious. We stopped in on a Sunday for their dinner menu and I was blown away. I had the ox tail my wife had the chicken and dumplings. The food was cooked to perfection. We will be coming back.“
“First time visiting. My husband and I ordered 2 chopped chicken sandwiches combo come w/1 side n drink. 1 with potato salad and the other Mac n cheese. We also ordered 1 peach cobbler and 1 pound cake. Jesus! Everything was tasty. My husband said best potato salad he has had. The pound cake was so moist, chopped chicken was juicy. Cobbler was so yummy. You won't go wrong with this BBQ spot. We found our new BBQ spot. Sorry no pics to add we ate to to fast lol“
“Not a great pic I already started eating but this is our Absolute favorite location! We had the rib baskets and the meat was so fall off the bone moist I didn't even use sauce, the Brunswick stew was the best I've had anywhere and I'm real picky about my stew, good cole slaw, okra was good not mushy and great sweet tea. “Literally a hole in a wall. Small private location . The food is so good . Fries and stew are the best sides. Ribs , pull pork and turkey sandwich are the best meat . The shop feels like someone is cooking out their house kitchen. Food is always fresh and good . Prices are good for serving size given . I highly recommend . Crazy thing I lived in my house for over 3 years and never knew this place was 10 minutes away from me that's how small and low key this place is.“
